I am just curious how long it will be when your MAHAL finally comes to America from when you last saw them, and how many times you have seen them from when you decided to go through the whole visa journey process.

As for me and Lenie, I last saw her in May when I stayed there for two weeks as her and I visited around my favorite places and saw my favorite people. When she gets here, it will be 10 months since I last saw her. It will be quite a shock, but a very very joyous time.

We were fortunate. I went to visit Claudeth and her family right after I mailed the petition in March 2005. She came here in July of 2005.

Why did it take you so long to file? That seems crazy too long.

Although this is in the Philippines thread, I believe my "teerak" and I qualify since we lived in the Philippines together. Hell, she learned more Tagalog and Bisaya than I did the whole time I was there, damn maids taught her too much.......LOL

I last saw her when I made a trip back to Thailand back in September. I expect her to be here in May, so that would make it 10 months. ugggghhhhhhh

My Ryan was here on February 11 (this year) and we spent the whole week together. We had a great Valentine's celebration. He went back to AZ on Feb 18 and we are already missing each other soooooooooooooooo MUCH. We're stretching our patience to wait for the approval of his petition which is absolutely strengthening our faith to the One who is taking care in and in control of everything.

The last time I saw my wife was January 08. Before that, it was April 07. Hopefully, our visa journey ends soon and I'll get to see her again in a couple of months.

Im looking at her right now, eating oranges while browsing her computer, lol. Seriously , I met Myla in person February, 2007 and saw her again when she arrived here October of the same year. 8 months more or less. I wanted to be with her during the interview but she "insisted" ( that was one of those times that she can be so stubborn and gets her own way, hahaha) I used the money instead for her ticket on her way here, which in the end I found very practical.Thats how she thinks. It was a long wait, but chatting and calling everyday helped a lot. And now, she is here, its the perfect gift for all the sacrifice.

To those who are still waiting to be together again, hang in there.
