Question on I-130/I-129F Received and NOA1 dates

Dear All:

My husband noticed earlier that our I-130 and I-129F received dates is different from our NOA1 and the date indicated on our USCIS case online. The received date we have on our NOA1 indicates that USCIS received our petition last August 7, 2007 but online it says August 31, 2007. Our I-129F online received date shows September 27, 2007 while on the NOA1 we received, it reflects September 12, 2007.

Unbelievable! This had left us stunned and my husband immediately called USCIS to inquire if there are any errors on their data entry. The USCIS personnel who got his call filed a request for us to check their records and mentioned that this shouldn’t slow down our process (yeah right!) ... but he also said that if we didn’t get any replies from USCIS within 45 days then we should immediately call them. We can’t believe this is happening :crying: . Dates are very important and they need to be very careful in encoding the correct information on their system and should at all times practice accuracy.

Anyway, we would like to check if anyone in here had experienced the same thing or is in a similar situation as ours. Appreciate your thoughts on this.

Thanks,
