Status:

My F-1 has expired, now i'm working under OPT, I've applied green card in June and already had my fingerprints taken on 07/07/07, right now they are doing background check. I have got I-512L approved with my picture on it.

Plan:

I'm planning to go back to my home country(China) for 2 weeks.

Questions:

1. Is there any other document (Employment Letter, paycheck...etc.) I need to bring with me in order to re-enter US?

2. If I only need AP and my passport to get back to US, do I only need to show these two documents at the Chinese immigration when I try to exit to the plane? :help::help:

Pls help me on this, thx thx!!

You most likely will need to demonstrate that you have permission to seek re-entry into the USA before boarding the plane on the return flight. This could include the airline as well as departure passport control.

YMMV
