It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

That's right - the survival rate is very low and apparently it's spread, so it's not looking good.

We shot a pilot with him last year - he is one of the nicest actors I've met, a true gent.

Ugh. Wonderful... :o

I was never a fan of Swayze (I hated "Dirty Dancing"), but my mother died of lung cancer, so I know how devastating cancer can be. From the time of diagnosis to death, she lasted a grand total of six months (with chemotherapy and radiation), but there wasn't much we could do. Lung cancer patients have a 3% survival rate, even lower than that of pancreatic cancer patients.

I hate cancer. :angry:

If Swayze has any family, I'd give them my best, but they didn't even know I exist. Oh well. I still hate cancer.

and in the article that RKL posted it just says he has cancer and that kind of caner usually only has a six to nine month survival rate... it doesn't say he is lying in a hospital bed somewhere...
