DS 158 for K1 Interview??? Have you heard of this?

When my fiancee went to pay the 131.00 fee for the visa at the CIB Bank they told him he needed to fill out a form DS 158 and bring it to the interview with him. Those of you who have had interviews have you done this? Some of the questions on the form from what he was telling me seemed a little different but I do not want to bring this if it is not necessary.

I believe a DS 158 is a Contact Information and a work history for non immigrant visa applicant's form....I do not see what this has to do with the consulate fee...It was not in my Pack 3......If I was you I would check the site for your country and what is needed for the interview

Hi Tasha!

We just filled out the forms that came in the packet 3... no one at CIB told Ashraf he needed to fill out any additional forms. I pulled up the DS158 and it doesnt look familiar to me at all... not to say that things are not constantly changing in Egypt... but we didnt fill that out for the interview. This form is only required for student and exchange visitor visas according to the US Embassy website.
