How long do we have to wait more??

Hello everyone:

My wife came on a K3 visa. We applied for her adjustment (I485) on June 2006. We did her fingerprint in July 2006. They asked for more info on my income. We submitted that on September 2006. Then she had her interview in New Orleans on August 2007. Unfortunately they said her medical was not complete because she was pregnant when she came with her K3 visa. And that started the whole painful waiting game and unfortunate events.

So we submitted a new medical exam on September 2007 and after 4 MONTHS in January 2008, they touched my file and found that her fingerprint has expired. So they sent for another fingerprint and we did that fingerprint in January last week of 2008. It has been about a month and half since then, we are still waiting.

Does anybody know at this point, how long will they take to approve her I485?? Thanks a lot for any info in this situation and any expeience from anybody.

If I were you, I would contact your local congressman. You have been waiting a very long time. I would tell your story to the congressman and ask him to file a congressional inquiry as to why you are waiting for so long. This has helped a lot of people. I suggest that you do it.
