My fiance is filling out his G-325a, but he knows nothing about his biological father. Can he just put "none" or "unknown"?

Unless he is a clone he certainly had a father so "NONE' is not the correct response... "Unknown" would be more appropriate...

Glad you asked this, since I have the same question.

Also, if we put None in for Father's family name, do we put "NONE" in for first name, birthdate, Date, City and Country of Birth (If known), and City and Country of Residence?

Actually, my bad, he DOES have his name. My fiance's grandmother GUESSED at his birthdate, but I've got a feeling a guess wouldn't be advisable, needs to be verifiable or nothing at all. The main snag is an address - hasn't seen him a SEVERAL, several years (since he was a child), so he wouldn't have that.

He can also put none listed, if there is none listed on his birth certificate.

my fiance's parents are divorced, so he had similar questions. We ended up filling in the information that we knew, and the information that we didnt know about his father we looked up(birth cirtificate, through other family members, etc).We eventually got in contact with him. However, for your situation I would have to say that Unknown sounds more professional/apropriate. That's just my opinion though.
