They will send me a letter when decision is made, this is the same ole line everytime. Anyone going through the same thing as myself. This is horrible i'm going into my 8 month on the 12th of this month.

Hi Vee,

Yeah, we are in the same boat. My husband sent I-130 on 06/29/06 and we received NOA1 07/10/07. And now we are still waiting for NOA2. We haven't received any response from CSC since then.

My husband contacted his senator after our petition became 7 months, but that senator wasn't really helpful. So last week, he contacted another senator and we are still waiting to hear from him.

I'm trying so hard now to keep my mind optimistic that our NOA2 will come soon!!!

Geez

This is not fair. my relationship is so concrete and real we didnt even meet on internet like the norm those r the relationships people need to watch, because predators thrive online and we all know that . They can also do it in person but u would expect it more online u know nothing about them but what they type versus being around them in person. This is what they sent me

Is there anyone else that have had the same experience like us, i.e. waiting for NOA2 for 8 months and more? What did you guys do?

mmm.. is withdrawing the petition at this point (after waiting ~ 8 months for NOA2) and try to apply it later through DCF is a good option?

I didn't wait 8 month like you guys did but I did wait just over 7 months. I contacted 2 senators and my congressman and three weeks after that I had an approval. They were all very helpful to me. They contacted USCIS directly and I believe that made USCIS actually doing something with my case. I was getting the same like to call back every 30 days, which was just unacceptable to me.

Please be careful with implying that relationships found on the internet cannot be real and concrete ...... I've found that a lot of people on here met their partners on the internet ..... we all connect for different reasons.

Personally I've found there to be more predators in nightclubs and bars  .... but this is my experience

At least on the internet you have the opportunity to get to know someone better as there are no expectations .....

Out of all of my friends in England, I'm the one with the relationship which is the most real and concrete .... and we met on the internet.

We took 2 years to get to the point of marrying, and that was with talking every day (3+ hours a night) and visits every few weeks. We are sooo close, that we hate being apart for 5 minutes, let alone for months on end with no view of a finish line

The geography is such a crying shame.

I understand that you believe people have more opportunity to lie on the internet, but trust me on this .... if someone's a liar, they will be whether you meet them online or face to face.

The US Government knows what it's doing .... and infact they have a list of countries which are 'high risk' for visa fraud .... these are the one's they pay more attention to .... regardless of whether the relationship is kosher or not.

I pray you get your approval soon, as it does seem you've been waiting forever .... but please don't judge other people's relationships .... we're all feeling the heat of being separated from our soulmates .... regardless of how we all met.

God bless you (F)
