Does it take an act of God for Cairo to answer an e mail? I have fired off four in a month's time and still no reply. :angry:

Yes. Amman was pretty good about answering, although you wouldn't always get a real answer to your question-- it would sometimes be something totally not what you asked. I once asked the same question 4 times in a row and I never got the answer-- i just gave up.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Good morning everyone! I woke up early this morning to a phone call from Akram. He said that someone from the embassy called him to tell him he has an appointment this sunday with the consular officer and he should bring proof that we are still in contact with each other.

I don't know what to say. I don't want my hopes up. Do you guys know if this means this is a second interview? Anyway, I beg all of you to please pray for us. Now I know I won't be able to sleep until he calls to let me know how it went!
