It's as if they let me write the script for this. Let it go down to the wire! Let it get messy at the convention. Let there be no clear winner!!

Dean needs to decide about FL & MI before the next 6 weeks. That should be good!

Heh, if he just gives the delegates to Clinton that would be the best thing that could happen. There would be open war in the democratic party. I just hope they don't decide to do it all over.

Obvs I think he should give 'em to her. ;)

But will he arrange new elections? I dunno. Seems like a huge & costly effort. Bottom line, he has to seat those states, somehow.

To some voters, race matters, as the exit polling demonstrating. There's no spin in that fact. Perhaps some people think we're not ready for a black president? That question had been brought up.

So which of the following would you say is worse than the other. Someone refusing to vote for Obama because he is black or someone voting for Hillary simply because she is a women.. Both of these types of voters are as dumb as each other.

I don't think either is 'worse' to tell the truth. Suffice to say its enough that there are people out there making voting decisions on superficial personal characteristics rather than what the candidates actually stand for.

Clearly there are reasons why every president in the countries 200+ year history have all been white men. It definitely reflects social attitudes - people can say they aren't racist or sexist, but when you look at this sort of thing its not really an argument that bears scruitiny.

Hillary pulled out all the stops.

Exit polling was interesting. Her gains were made with a lot of voters who said 'race mattered' when selecting a candidate.

(CNN) — Clinton's Texas win can be attributed to some of the same factors that led her to prevail in Ohio: Overwhelming support from seniors, voters worried about their financial status, and late deciders. Her big margins among these blocs were key in tilting the state to her favor.

Among 65 and over voters, she bested Obama by 37 points. On those voters worried about their financial situation, Clinton held a 13 point advantage. And among those voters who decided in the last three days, Clinton bested Obama by 23 points.

The big margins in those categories were hard for Obama to make up elsewhere.

Clinton was also buoyed by Latino voters in Texas– that group went for her over Obama by roughly 35 points, and constituted about a third of the electorate.

Since Hillary was the only one on the ballot in MI there is no way Dean should seat the delegates without holding a new election.

Especially since they all agreed not to campaign in those states. It wouldn't be a fair representation of what the voters wanted. Still, they're probably going to get seated somehow.

The pic of a spray bottle! ......ooooh ouch. Little monkey. The seathing rage from someone who has so much love. Fukin hypocrits! Fallin down the hole of dependence. Hope it works out for ya all.

brother marc, you not on my ignore list....and i certainly do not consider you a troll, cause your opinion may differ than mine. i value it ...

.i think, the more opinions we get, the more we need to examine our preceptions...dean

Thanks Dean, appreciate it. None of my comments were pointed towards your type of democrat. They are pointed torwards the ones that post loving caring things to the ones they agree with and vehement dislike for the ones that dont. I get in the faces of these people just to show the hypocracy in their words. Its also amusing to watch them "ignore it" however their concious has no ignore button.

so racists vote for hillary

Charles.....it was MSNBC and was one of their exit poll questions in Ohio. I didn't make this up.

The talking heads last night were saying Hillary went after the McCain demographic - i.e. that part of her stumping was to go after those voters who would choose her over McCain. As nearly as I can tell, the pollsters were wanting to see what is on the minds of those in that group.

You'd have to be a babe in the woods to think that race isn't on the minds of some voters. There are still voters out there who lived before and during the civil rights movement. And not all of them agreed with the social change that came out of it.

Dev,

As I just said to Charles one post up, the exit poll question was reported on MSNBC as part of their Ohio polling. I don't know if they asked the same question in Texas.

I don't think being out of the media eye can be good for McCain just like being out of the news wasn't good for Guiliani. No matter how messy the dem campaign gets, the chances are they'll come together once the dust settles and there's no such thing as 'bad' publicity, well not if the #### is as harmelss as is being thrown currently there's simply nothing that'll leave a lasting stain. Relying on the dems shooting themselves in the foot instead of having a really great candidate is a pretty dodgy strategy. However, cheer on if that makes you feel good.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
