What is the difference between the 10 year 'green card' and the 2 year 'green card' when it comes to Traveling?

Does my wife need an Advance Parole (Approval) if she is has a Conditional 'Green Card'?

A green card is a green card .... the only difference is the expiration date as all rights and benefits associated with being a green card holder are the same.

Advance parole is an interim benefit between application filing and status adjustment... Once you become a permanent resident (green card holder), advance parole is meaningless....

YMMV

There is no difference between the 2 year and the 10 year cards when it comes to travelling. AP is not required if your wife has the GC.

Wonderful. My wife was wanting to travel to South Africa to visit her sister and did not want to wait.

This is good!
