How long for Packet 4? London :)

Hello!

My fiance first sent back the required documents from packet 3, and then sent the checklist saying that he had the necessary documents about 2 weeks ago. He hasn't received a letter back from the embassy (I think it's called Packet 4?) scheduling an interview and I was just wondering if anyone knew about how long it usually takes? It was sent to the embassy in London, England.

mine took about four weeks, between sending back Packet 3 and getting a date in Packet 4... I had about five days' notice for my actual interview, from the letter, but my fiance had called the Department of State in the US and so we actually found out the date a couple of days earlier

what number can i use to call the department of state in the us? we emailed the london embassy about an update and have not heard anything back. anyone know the timeframe for a response? thanks.

The number is (202) 663 1225. Press 1 for the main menu, then 0 for an operator.

Give them a call! They are (usually) very helpful and friendly.

Hi

i sent my completed form back on the 27th of feb and i got the packet 4 on the13th of march, My interview it on the 1st April. so the wait is about 3 weeks or so.
