yeah i've been reading about the advantages and disadvantages of it, and unless you over exposure, it's not a problem.

I've done it once in Brazil for a month when I was in college and it was like August or something and it had been months I hadn't gone to the beach.

well it is a number. what did the doctor say? Is your health in risk? Do you need to buuld muscles to lose some of the fat to be healthier, or are you ok like that?

Well she said it was average. I'm not at risk, my blood pressure was really good, my weight is ok, and my heart rate was alright. She said I do need to improve my heart rate a bit which I knew that already. Of course I'm not happy with my body right now or I wouldn't be getting an exercise program to begin with. I knew I wasn't in good shape and that I needed to tone up. I just never imagined she'd tell me I'm 27% body fat. It just seems impossible to me. But whatever. I'm on the right track to fix it so I'm not worrying about it anymore.

what about one of those scales that tells you all your info. the body composition things. maybe you should try one of those.

It's not only about cancer, but they say if you tan too much you'll look older earlier.

it makes your skin look leathery. like that old lady on something about mary

why not try the mystic tan thing? they spray you all over. my sister does that once every week or so because she gets it free at work and it looks pretty good. we have a tanning bed at our house and I use it about 5 minutes a week. I burn really easy!

I think it fades eventually but it lasts 1-2 weeks. Like I said my sister usually gets it done once a week but sometimes she waits even 3 weeks

I'm pretty darn white but I just burn so I don't even bother unless it's the sunless tanning stuff. I do it once or twice a year
