Ahhhh ketchup is the key, I see. Thanks Marylin!

Well, Mom won't like the ketchup, that's for sure. She doesn't believe in ketchup :crying: I pour it over everything and she freaks everytime. She makes wonderful Spanish omlettes with potato (tortilla Española) and I HAVE to have ketchup with it. She gets really offended LOL Awww bless.

Love Snowy Taters recipe - Get your hands in there and mix and mesh all that ####### up

Can you please write your own cook book? I would so buy that!

Squash? No, never had it. Isn't that something in between a pumpkin and a courgette?

Mhhhh meatloaf *drool*. I would really fancy some for breakfast now. Argh, but I failed on my diet last night and had 33 points instead of the 21 I was supposed to have... guilt guilt guilt LOL

it's yellow courgette :)

 my husband has been laying in bed for the past 10-15 minutes just singing "me so horny me so horny me love you long time" I'm not even in the room but I can hear him. I don't know if he is drunk or so tired he has no clue what he's doing but i can't stop laughing

Oh I am so jealous. No one's in my bedroom!

I just came home from Mom's place, the chicken came out well. I'll get into detail in the iron chef thread.

Hope you are all well! x

turns out he was just super drunk/tired. since he works night shift and was off last night he started drinking after I went to bed at like 3am. I banished him outside to make his curry. he wanted it to bad he actually ran an extension cord from the kitchen in our basement out to the grill. he then sat the plug in electric burner on the grill (grill not on obviously) and cooked. it took him almost 4hrs to make MAYBE 4 cups of vegetable vindaloo, 6-8 onion bhajis, and 6 samosas. I was just laughing the whole time. every time he came inside I was telling him to clean up his mess. MEN!

mmmmm the pizza was sooo good

I sauteed some onion, fried up the sausage and chopped up some bell pepper and then put this yummy organic tomato sauce I found at the dollar store on the garnitas and then the rest of the toppings and cheese.. hubby even suggested barbecuing them which he did... oh my there were yummy!!!

Oh yummy! What kind of sausage you use? Back in Cleveland we would get Italian sausage on pizza - I never came across it in another country as a pizza topping, so I am wondering what you use.

Do you make the dough yourself as well?

I am flying to Savanna, SC for a week and will spend a week at Hilton Head Island, enjoying the beach!

Can't wait!! Only two months to go!

So you're going where I'd like to be going. I love HHI! You'll love it too. You def need to go to the Oyster Factory and eat. It's out of this world good. A little pricey but well worth it.

You know, I just only saw that now - how odd. :)

Why are you guys not going to Hilton Head for vacation - it's only four hours from Myrtle beach, so not that far.

I can't wait to go - have lots of good seafood, take long walks on the beach and go fishing. It's the first time I am there, so if you have more recommendations, please bring them on :)

We'll be definitley checking out the oyster factory!

We can't afford HHI this year. Since Javi lost his job and is starting his own business we're going cheap on the vacation. My aunt has a house in North Myrtle so it's free for us to go there, except for gas and food.

As for other recommendations, you need to go to the Salty Dog cafe. It's great too. There is one other little restaurant we go to also but I can't remember the name of it right now. I'll have to think on it and get back with you. Of course there is tons of shopping to do because they have the outlet malls there. That's all I can think of right now. If I come up with anything else I'll let you know.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I just used some breakfast sausage that I had in the freezer, I chopped it up and then fried it and while frying I added a bit of salt and pepper and garlic...

I was going to make my own dough but at the store I found these gorditas ...

A gordita in Mexican cuisine is a food which is characterized by a small, thick tortilla made with masa harina (corn flour). The gordita is in contrast to a taco, which uses a thinner tortilla. "Gordita" means "little fat one" in Spanish.
