Thanks Alex :) If you were living closer, I'd invite you over for dinner!!

It's only a fun hobby though, I better leave chefing to the pros :D

f only I had a bigger kitchen, I could make so many more yummy dishes :( My kitchen is tiny, I have only have two burners and a sink, plus the little crappy oven I bought. Actually, my kitchen is my hallway as well... :wacko:

Thank you so much! We might live a lot closer soon enough...we are moving back to Europe sometimes this year,although the country hasn't been determined yet. It could very well be Germany too...and even if it wasn't good old Ryan Air could take me to your delicious food :whistle::P

ETA: I saw yr apt pics in your albums, I love where you live!

Hello, can someone please direct me to the thread where the NVC case number explained? or can someone explain brief the NVC DIGITS means. i've been searching it but cant seem to find it.. Thank you..

example: MNL2004246004

MNL= Manila

2007= year

704 (minus 500) = 204 . This is the date entered, which is July 22nd, I believe. (But double check if July 22rd is the 204th day of the year. Remember 2004 is a leap year)

004 = You're the 4th case created for Manila.

Hope this helps!!

Omg!! That's fantastic! Are you happy with the decision? We definitely should meet up then, that would be awesome!!! So have you guys narrowed it down to a few countries yet? I can't recommend Germany - too many rude, narrow minded people and weak economy plus high unemployment rate :) Ireland is the place to be, it's blooming economically.

Oh, thanks for liking my place. I've lived here for 9 months now and I really like it. Small, but cosy. And it was even enough for two people, when my husband and I were still living together. But I must admit, I like it much better by myself :lol:

Yes, it would be great we should definitely do it!!! I will keep you posted. To answer your question...Yes, we are very happy with our decision, as a matter of fact it is by choice. The most jobs in his field are actually in Germany, although we are trying to go back to Italy as first choice. I just want to live close to my family again and my husband is in love with Italy so he wants to go there as well (he lived there for 3 years before).It will be a contractor or government position, so technically the economy of the country where we'd move to wouldn't affect us all that much (not sure it makes sense lol). We pretty much would take anything in Italy, Germany, Amsterdam, London or Scandinavia. Final goal is to move back to Milan where I grew up though which we should be able to accomplish in about another year or so.

Ok now I want quails and can't find them here... :unsure:

Have you decided when you're going to NZ? I remember you had to cancel your trip last winter...I assume your health is all good now :thumbs:

looks very yummy julie! making me very hungry. all I ate today was a granola bar, turkey sandwich and some applesauce. babysitting a 18 month old does a body good. but now I'm sooo hungry. going to make dinner soon and I'm thinking about putting these massive turkey tenderloins either on the grill or in the smoker. not sure which one yet

Julie I'm coming to visit you too so you can cook for me!!!!!!!!! Let me just fuel up my jet and I"ll be there in about 9-10hrs.

Perfect, you'll be here for brekkie then :P

Poached eggs on whole grain English muffin on a bed of fresh rocket with sauteed cherry tomatoes, mushroms and a wee bit of hollandaise sauce on the eggs? My favourite warm breakfast!!

Oh man, I am obsessed with food and photos. :help:

Are you feeling a little bit better today?

that sounds delish!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling better today but my nose is sooooo sore from blowing it all week. I think I actually used 3 big boxes of tissues!!!!! I'm kinda tired because I was babysitting all day but we had lots of fun so it's worth it. We took her grocery shopping with us and my aunt said you can't put stuff in the cart with her (she stands in the big part) or else she will throw it onto the floor. So...I pushed her in a cart and Neil pushed a cart for the food. Each time I had something to put in the cart I handed it to her and Neil pulled up the cart next to her and she threw it in. It took us about 2.5hrs to do our shop that usually takes us about 45 minutes!
