Although 2007 wasn't such a good year, my bonus was still decent. Fingers crossed for 2008!

I just got a call from the one agency that I wanted to work for... they were calling my references today... she was wondering if I had more references because the one referenece I didn't have a number for and the other one she said she called and it was a wrong number.... I asked her the number and it was the one I had and I swear when I called it the other day the lady's voice on the voice mail message sounded like the lady I worked for....

anyways I emailed her some extra references last Friday and while I was on the phone with her I guess she remembered that and she is going to give them a call.. she said once she did that she would give me a call to schedule an orientation and they usually only do those in Fridays and she said this Friday was already full so it would probably be next Friday ....

I'm sorry about your situation, Marilyn. I hope soon you have the strenght to work full time. I'm glad you like the cumin idea, I think cumin gives a special flavor to meat.

It is amazing. I already had a $5 scale that I bought at Walmart, but it's one of those simple that if you want to weigh a potato, it's good for 8oz or 16oz, approximatelt, you know? But I wanted one that measures perfectly, like 1.35 oz., not around 2oz.

Ouch, I was walking by this woman holding a bag and with a kid and she dropped her sunglasses, without thinking I looked at it and just kept walking. Then I was like #######? bad Nessa

Today I'll have work to do here. The events/mkt people I used to work need my help doing the job I used to do but I don't get paid for anymore, not only that, this computer doesn;t have Microsoft Office, so I'll have to have the spreadsheet and stuff printed and handwrite all the info instead of updating on the comp. A pain in the a$$ if you ask me. But I'm nice I'll do it.

I am feeling stressed out right now...

I was just doing some figuring and what hubby will be making working part time and what I will be making will barely cover our expenses... I might have to consider working full time... I know this might sound crazy to some but I am just not sure If I am ready mentally and emotionally to work full time...

plus having to take care of things around the homestead too....

he does say he will be doing side jobs and also helping out his dad and brother (he will get paid for that) but I don't know when that will start etc...

I am sorry to hear that you are stressed, Marilyn. Have you thought of seeing a therapist? Maybe that can help you to build up the strength you need. I hope things work out for you (F)

I have been seeing a therapist for the past few months.. I haven't seen her in about a month because she was on vacation but I have an appointment next week with her....

if you think you might not be ready, then you probably aren't. take it easy on yourself.

the reason he wanted part time hours was because his schedule was killing him and he couldn't do his best in school.... but I am hoping he does at least help out his dad and brother...
