Good Morning everyone!

Another quiet day here, my boss is on vacation, my project got cancelled and I just sit here for decorational purposes and to entertain the colleagues with random stories.

It's still snowing over here, I can't believe it. It's been snowing for 24 hours straight now. But the temperatures are so high that the snow is not sticking to the ground, it melts the second it touches it.

Today in a month I am getting my new tattoo, wahoo! Countown is on!

Oh, finally someone here! I have such a fukcing boring day at work, I am slowly going nuts.

How are you?

I have some cherry blossoms on my shoulder and will get them extended down my arm, with a squirrel (I LOVE squirrels, seriously) sitting in one of the twigs. I know it sounds a bit insane, but it will look great.

And I just love love love my tattooist, I met her last year at the Frankfurt tattoo convention and she does great work. She is from Birmingham and has a studio there. I am so happy that she is coming to Frankfurt again! Jo Harrison's studio

I'm good. Just sitting here at work wishing I was still on break.

That looks awesome! I think it will look great once you get it extended. I have two tattoos already. One on my lower back and one on the top of my right foot. You can see them on facebook (if you have it) but you'll have to add me as a friend. I have my profile restricted. I'd love to get a new one. I can't decide what or where to get it though. My two I have now aren't really meaningful to me. The next one I get I want it to mean something to me. I might wait until I have a baby then get something that represents them.

Yeah, take your time to develop ideas. One day you'll just know what you want and why - don't push it.

The first tattoo I got was a pair of cherries on my left hip, five years ago in Carins/Australia, that was just a spontaneous decision and I still love them. But they don't mean anything. Then I had five turquoise stars done on my neck, the Southern Cross, when I lived in Melbourne. Followed by a bright green four leaf clover on my right shoulder, next to my "lucky scars", two symmetrical scars I have left from an accident in Thailand which I almost didn't survive. My lucky charms!

And then I got the cherry blossoms last year, they are just pretty, but not very meaningful. The squirrel on the other hand, means a lot. My Mom calls me squirrel as a nickname (plus squirrels are my favourite animals). It will always remind me of my Mom - she has cancer and has a pretty rough time. The cancer can't be cured, so it's just a matter of time until she is not with us anymore.

I have three stars on my foot. They aren't regular looking stars though. They are just done in black. Then I have blue flowers and a butterfly on my lower back. It's very dainty. It's not one of those big gawdy lower back tattoos. My tattooist is insane. He really is quite strange. When I got the stars on my foot he said he was quiting so I guess I'll have to find a new one. He was moving out to Nebraska or somewhere to live on a farm and fly under the radar. Seriously, he was convinced the government has some conspiracy going on and he was getting the heck outta dodge before it happened. Which, it could be true but I'm not quiting my job and all that jazz just in case. He was going to mine for jewels and stuff and only trade so he wouldn't be on the grid. WEIRDO! :lol:
