What are you talking about 80s hicks are the life of every party xD

You know people that have a control for a waterfall o_o That's scary.

7-layer salad is intriguing.

Summer 2001 - met my Scottish boy

December 18th, 2007 - proposal in Madrid's Botanical Gardens with a duck standing behind him going 'food?'

January 31st, 2008 - received NOA1, issued Jan. 24 :)

:lol: yes we're very powerful people we have control of a waterfall. my cousins layed all the pipes and the water pumps from one lake into another and then around in a big circle to pump the waterfall. we can't leave it on all the time just incase one of the lakes is too low (no one lives there we just go there for weekends or sometimes during the week) we don't want to burn out the motor. normally it is just turned on when a lot of people are gathered there. if you think control of the waterfall is impressive you should see the pics of the rest of our land. you'd be amazed.

7 layer salad is really yum. super simple to make since all you do is put down each thing in a dish and make it 7 layers :lol: it's best if you chop everything really small so you don't get a big bite of celery and a big bite of onion since the other things are quite small on their own.

i love 7 layer salad... it is so yum.. my sis-in-law and I would always fight for the leftovers ...lol

I got chastised awhile back for posting the recipe :( people said it was bad for you :P

it is not like I eat it every day or anything.. just on special occasions...

what I don't like is when my hubby tells me that he is out of pants to wear but he tells me right on his last pair.. what..... am I supposed to keep tabs on his clothes?? ..lol

although last time he did give a few days warning .... :thumbs:

:lol: Charles does that too. '' you didn't wash my jeans. It's Friday, I wear jeans on Fridays'' like hello? it's not because it's casual Friday you are obligated to wear jeans :bonk:

So I just answer ''i ain't your maid, #######'' :lol:

eeerrhhmmm.. sorry for you gals ... my hubby is the one who does all the laundry, fold, put away and smile at me when he is done :D

the higher ups at hubby's work are being losers... :angry:

a few weeks ago he talked to his supervisor about going part time.. and the supervisor said that it would be no problem and that my hubby could just let him know what days he wanted to work... so hubby told him Friday to Sunday... and that seemed fine..

but then the people above the supervisor got a hold of it and they are being jerks... and they say they either want him to work Friday to Monday nights or Saturday to Monday nights but they definetly want him to work Mondays because they say that is their busiest night (hubby told me that Tuesday and Wednesdays are the busiest) .. he then told them that is pointless because he has school Monday nights but they are still very adamant that he works Monday nights... they are going to get back to him on Monday but it looks like hubby is stuck in full time...

poor hubby, he has been permanently exhausted for the last couple of weeks and he has another couple of months of this schedule...

I am making my 5 year old nephew a BD card.. this is the pic I am going to use.... I fiddled it with it using photobucket but the grin is his and he was wearing the shades... .. he is such a ham in front of the camera ...lol

Well, I just worked out and now I'm ''working'' :P

the 7 layer salad is basically what marilyn said. you just have 7 items and layer them hehe. I used lettuce, peas, red onion, celery, mayo, cheese & bacon

I use to make them without even knowing they had a name :lol: just last week I made one with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, onions, cheese, roast beef, lime juice and spices (pepper, chives, parsley, oregano, basil and rosemary).

I used to add more stuff, but I was out of them, like carrots, olives and bellpepper.
