No, I don't iron. The only thing I iron (and that only sometimes and if, then in the morning) are my dress shirts for work.

Everything else I wear so tight, it irons on my body

wow busy today...

I hate cleaning. We have a maid and if we didn't there would be ####### everywhere. If something needs cleaned I usually demand that Neil do it I specifically buy clothing that does not need to be ironed because I don't even know how to iron. When I had to iron all my chef uniforms for culinary school I had the maid do it for me since I burnt one

Also, I never swept a floor until I was 17 or 18 and people think that's weird.

Now I must go watch Grey's Anatomy. Will tell you all about my insane day when it's over.

I'm going to the dr tomorrow to have laser hair removal. YAY!

Anyone think the laser is painful? I had it on my wrists before and it made my fingers twitch because of the pain. Maybe it was just a bad spot?

In theory the idea of a maid is nice, but I don't think I could handle it. I am pretty sure I would clean first so she wouldn't see my house dirty and then follow her around. I'd rather do it myself to my own standards....

Same with me, I never had to do anything - grew up with a maid as well. But I learnt to do all these things (and to pick up after me), when I was backpacking and worked as a waitress and a cleaner in a hostel. Ohhh fun times

I never really did anything growing up. I pick up after myself and I know how to clean but I don't see a need to clean if someone else can do it

Continuing on the subject of cleaning, I learned last night that my housemate's boyfriend has taken a weekend shift at his work, so he'll be staying in the house for weekends from now on.

I was fine with him being there during the week (although I'm hoping he may contribute towards bills soon...) but the weekend is the time when I get to clean the house; scrub the floors, vacuum, generally sort out my laundry. He's not a very tidy person and has the habit of taking over the house (especially the kitchen) and I can see it conflicting with my weekend schedule.

Also, six more days and I am on vacation for 10 days

So, no complaints from my side.

Re your flat share situation Rach, I would tell them straight away that you are not happy with basically having a third housemate without being asked. Better say something straight away than keeping it inside and let the anger built up.
