Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Charles, just wanted to let you know I tried menudo the other day. Sunday we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant and they had it for the special. Javi had never eaten it before so he ordered it. I tried it and let me just say, it tasted like $hit smells. I have never tasted anything so foul in my life. He sent it back and ordered something else. Needless to say I'll never eat menudo again. EVER!

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I just got home.

And I need to complain. Mom's chemo has been postponed again. For two and a half months it has been postponed. This time, Mom said that the certain chemo they want to give has to be approved by her health insurance first. Oddly enough, the doctors already suggested that particular chemo four weeks ago, so the request could have been sent to the insurance then. Her tumor marker is the highest she's ever had (in 21 years) and she has the nerves to tell me to relax about it, since "the cancer is not growing THAT fast".

Fast enough for me and I wish they would have started treatment two and a half months ago. I think my Mom just wants to postpone the treatment, because she is tired of feeling drained by the chemo. And I can understand that, but I am drained by worrying about her all the time, worrying about her passing away soon because the tumors are not being treated. I am also worried about the chemo, don't get me wrong. It is horrible to see her suffer, throwing up, losing her taste, smell and hair, feeling tired and sick all the time. But it makes me feel a little safer, because I feel like we are at least doing something.

Anyway, I feel drained. She feels drained. We both feel drained. Bravo.
