I didn't realise New Kids on the Block were so dam popular! I'm watching Today and they have a "concert" on there today and people are going nuts. It's like Take That all over again

my hubby is hanging out with his new boss today.... he says the guy is really nice...

glad to hear, Marilyn.. My boss is really cool, everybody there are extremely cool. My problem is I have to learn 2 different computer programs they have to do enrollment, payment, financial reports, a million things, and then there's all the contracts to learn and paperwork and all the activites, it's endless and I only have one week to learn.

I know I'm gonna have to work hard to learn everything asap, because after she's gone I'm gonna be by myself on the second shift.

The job has lots of positive aspects, so far:

- like it's over $2 / hour more than my other job that was abolished and over $5 / hour more than my job at the fitness center .

- I have my own office that has a door, OMG I missed that so much. But there is a negative to that, I will spend most of the day at the reception office, not in my office, but oh well.

- great parking place

- great work enviroment

- amazing work hours

- i'll be extremely busy, which I love, so I don't have to sit there and be bored to death

The negative aspects I found so far:

- sometimes i'll have to work at nights and Sat mornings

- I'll have to memorize 100 parents and 200 kids names, cuz I'm supposed to treat them by name and I'm just terrible with names

- I can't show my tattoos, so I'll be sweating like a pig on summer time wearing blouses with sleeves.

- sometimes I have to work split shifts, like start in the morning, leave for 3, sometimes 6 hours and then come back amd work the rest of the afternoon shift.

But still, I think I'm gonna like it. I just hope I can learn everything in time. I'm really worried about that, well, I'm terrified.
