they had a meeting at hubby's work yesterday where they announced that they are going to pay for anyone who wants to go to school to take air conditioning classes.. hubby thinks they are doing that because of him... they didn't mention books but hubby talked to the guy after and mentioned that and they guy said, "oh yea I forgot about that.. I didn't tell my boss but sure we will cover books"... that is good because the books are so expensive.. some of his text books are around 100 bucks...

Marylin I thought you'd appreciate that I bought a cute shirt today from Ross for $10. I tried one on that was on clearance for $5.50 but it didn't fit right, darn!

A friend just called and left a funny message. He never leaves normal messages, he always acts like a telemarketer or politician. This time his message was for Kavi, saying he had a great offer for Kavi to open a 0% interest credit card and to please call back for this excellent offer. This guy is married too and has a little girl who I'd like to arrange Kavi to marry. (j/k of course) We went to HS together.

That is such an Indian mother joke. What's happening to you!!!

Well another friend who has a little girl has asked if we can arrange Kavi to her, and they aren't even Indian. I said sure but can't tell them that I'd rather him marry this other little girl. Shh!! Oh what to do!?

I am still sad about my Mom *sigh*.

Went out for dinner with my crazy pregnant pharmacist friend. She's lovely. She offered my some Rohypnol so I can just switch my mind off for a night, but I said no thanks

Bought a pair of black peep toe heels and some fleur de sel from Ibiza. That was all I bought today though. :innocent:

I know what you mean...I am trying to lose weight also. With shirts, I can wear the same size for awhile even if I'm losing weight. I am not buying any jeans anytime soon b/c of that. The jeans I am wearing I have had for a long time, thankfully I can still fit into them after the pregnancy or I'd have to buy some. (of course it took a month or so after having the baby to be able to fit back in) I still wear a pair of maternity jeans sometimes because they are comfy. :innocent: After having the baby I had to buy some new shirts because I had been wearing maternity shirts for awhile and it seemed like I had hardly any normal shirts anymore, or they had gotten stains on them, etc. So I have bought a few over the past couple months, but all at really good deals. I also sold some maternity things off on ebay last week and made extra money so that's what I am using to buy a few things. Yay for ebay!
