I just HAD to put this here too...

:dance::dance::dance: OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

After 406 days.......

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On May 13, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you.

Congrats Frances - it was really about time. Send a sarcastic thank you card to USCIS.

I'm back!!! I did really well on the assessment. They told me it would take 2-3 hours and I was done in 35 minutes. When it told me I was finished I thought maybe I was done with the first section or something. Anyways, I got 100 out of 100 on the reading portion, 98 out of 100 on the english portion, and 97 out of 100 on the algebra portion. My advisor told me that it's the highest scores he has seen in years and that I'm so gifted I can really do whatever I want and be good at it :)

Since my scores were so high I am also able to test out of almost all of the general ed courses. YAY!!!!

eta: congrats f!!!!

Now is the time to change your name to Ms. Smartypants! Congrats!

I forgot to add something earlier...it's something very very sad...I measured myself at the gym today and it said I'm only 5ft 9.5in...must confirm that at the dr office on my next visit

Dwarf

i'll tell ya how good she looks hermano ;)

i sense a story here......

Me too!

:secret: I think Wilson and Ambs like each other. But shhhhhh.

Mom had a computer tomography of her lungs again today. She had been on a two month chemo break and now the cancer is alive and kicking again. The main tumors have grown a lot.

On Saturday we are going to the Zoo, because we don't know if we ever can go to the zoo together again, after she starts new chemo next Wednesday. Chemo wears her out so much, she can't do any activities.

Pedro is still asleep, Dean - he is off work today and tomorrow B)

I'm thinking Javi might also have citizenship before he gets his 10 year card approved. For some reason we got sent to VSC from TSC instead of CSC like most everyone else. He can apply for citizenship this November.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Julie, I'm sorry to hear about your mom's situation. (F)

Frances, congrats on the GC, it's about time!

We got lucky. Sent it in last July, was transferred to CSC and got approved in January. USCIS is so inconsistent. Some people were getting approved at CSC in 2 months or less.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Yep, it sure is. You wouldn't believe the people that has actually happened to. It's almost like USCIS does it on purpose or something. I'm secretly hoping we'll get his GC before August because we are hopefully going to Mexico. I know he can travel with his extension letter but I would just feel so much better about it if he had his actual 10 yr card.
