all I keep thinking is, that is almost $1200 USD!! :wow::D

I don't think I spend that much on clothes in a year. :P I'm a bargain shopper though.

I spend that much on shopping sprees a few times a month. Jules and I need to go shopping together :)

I honestly can't wrap my head around this.

I just like stuff. Typically the stuff I like turns out to be expensive stuff.

I spent €600 on clothes today

My kinda gal

back off mawilson! she's mine :P

Fine, can I keep Rachel then? :P

that seems like a fair deal :)

eta: I get really excited when I like something that is cheap

I barely earn that amount per month. :help:

Well, okay, I'm not that destitute - but I do earn a rather low wage!

So, if I'm kept...do I get a wage for that? Can I take it in clothes allowance? :innocent:

Me neither...we can go bargain shopping together. :P

Is it too personal to ask if this spending is done with available cash or goes on credit cards? If with available cash, wow a few times a month.

Yes!

I miss my college friend. She stayed back home, I moved. She acted as a personal shopper for me and would rummage through the bargain bins for me, then we'd try clothes on and she was pretty good at giving an honest opinion. I had far more self-confidence in college and I'm sure it's not only because I was a little slimmer.

I can't fathom spending that much money on clothes either. I might spend that much in an entire year. I'm a major bargain shopper. I won't buy anything unless it's on sale. My favorite stores are TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshall's. You can get name brand stuff for really cheap. Then my next favorite places to shop would be Old Navy, American Eagle, and Aeropostale but only if they are having a sale. I refuse to spend $40 or more on a shirt, pants, shorts, etc. I just won't do it. There are too many other things I could spend that money on.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I use credit cards but they are paid off completely 10 out of 12 months. I don't carry cash because I would lose it OR forget I have it.

I expect the worst when it comes to price of things I like. I get really excited if I was drawn to something and it turns out to be cheaper than I expected.

Indeed. And if I had money to blow, I'd rather go places than buy things.

bootylicious...I do the same. I spent full price on a top at Target for $20 and was annoyed it wasn't on sale. Even if I had tons of extra money I wouldn't spend a lot on clothes.

Amber...that's good that you can pay it off. I meant bank account money/debit card not really cash. :)

We just payed off my cc debt last year finally. I had used it during college on some necessary and some unnecessary things. A lot of regrets! I never use it now.

lol... I hardly spend anything on clothes and when I do shop for clothes I go to Susie's Deals where everything is $6 but you can find nice stuff if you look... like this year, I haven't bought any clothes at all yet... the last time I bought any clothes was back in September or October I spent maybe 40 bucks on about 6 or 7 shirts...

I'm the same way. I would much rather save the money and go on a trip.

I don't like to spend a lot on clothes because I don't wear them enough. I'll buy a shirt this summer and by next summer I won't like it anymore. I just don't see the point in spending tons of money on stuff I'm only going to wear for a few months. I do spend a little more on shoes though because I keep shoes forever.
