Ooh, you have a lovely eye colour, Sister Fracas.

Julie; yes! Now I am forever associated with one of my favourite household chores (seriously; no sarcasm). :)

Too bad I only mop once a year...but I will think of you when I see snakes from now on! Yikes!! In ya pants!!

My favourite household activity is doing laundry. The man who marries me, never has to do his own laundry, it will be my pleasure to do it!! Love the smell of wet laundry on the clothes dryer...so nice and fresh (L)

That snake is a complete perv!

He does one thing right, though - whenever my little brother holds him, he wraps himself straight around my brother's neck.

And mm, I agree with you regarding fresh laundry smell. I tend to dry my clothes in my room out of respect for my housemate, so my room smells lovely, but I do have to be careful as it's a small room and if I close the door at night I wake up in a really humid atmosphere.

:wow: That's so nasty. At least it can't eat me, because it looks like it already had a human for dinner.

Oh yeah, I hate the mugginess. In the winter I turn on the heater for the laundry to dry quicker and get a tropical feeling in my living room after a while. Just without rainforest and cocktails. It's just really dangerous with the humid rooms - the walls mould easily and that's really, really bad.

Ok, I have a serious question here for you guys.... eliminating the rising cost of gas, do you find it's harder and harder to afford things? I was thinking about this this morning when they were doing some kind of feature on the morning news about saving money in these hard times and it got me thinking that hubster and I don't seem to be having any difficulties yet, as far as groceries or other necessities are concerned. Oh and BTW, we do NOT have high incomes (hubster is a teacher and I work for a non-profit organization), so it's not that we have lots of money. Just wondered how others are faring?

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Groceries are definitely more expensive than they used to be. But I can't say I have an affordability problem yet. I've written some very large checks in the last month or two (grad school, home projects, india fares and a loan to a family member) and if one of us lost our jobs now, we'd be in serious hurt. But that hasn't happened, so we're good... for now.

My wifes employer hasn't even told her if they're going to renew her contract for the next school year... so that has me a little (ok, more than a little) nervous...

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
