I dunno, I think you get use to that sort of hum. I live on a busy street and don't notice the sounds much, even fire engines I've gotten use to. But let some bum whistle down on the street at 3am and THAT will wake me up, not the fire truck or ambulance....

lori, you're right. the only reason i'm reluctant to move on is the prospect of walking to the grocery store and the train station...

I can see how that would be alluring, but there are too many negatives to one positive.

It's too big of an investment, ya know?

Looking for the right house can be stressful, sometimes you worry if you are letting slip away something that would have been perfect or afraid if you choose you will miss out on something more perfect.

Are you actively looking or was this something you just saw and were interested in?

this conversation has me leaning no

my wife is already leaning no... she doesn't mind driving to shoprite

What I meant by a big investment, isn't just money. It's the amount of time you will be living there.

You should find something you're both SURE about.

Just my opinion though, good luck!

The latter. We're not actively looking, but we did run into this place.

I kind of wanted to make a point to my wife, who has been on my case for a while about how unaffordable central NJ is for us (she is tired of condo living) and how we need to move out of the area, either into south jersey or pa (or further).

So I found this, it fit our budget (barely) and it was in good shape. In her view, I ended up making her point for her.

Needless to say, I am argumentative and completely disagree :jest:

You should find something you're both SURE about.

You're right.
