Or I could drive the extra quarter mile and get lasagna. I like lasagna. But that's kinda pricey for a weekday lunch.

I'm thinking 2 cheeseburgers off the wendy's dollar menu. Fill me up and won't cost nothing.

Isn't it a bit late for lunch?

Probably because you haven't eaten today.

On a side note, my stupid bil broke my computer again. This makes the third time he's messed it up. It's getting a bit old. He was supposed to be buying it from us but hasn't done that yet. I told Javi last night Jaime can have the dang thing and I'm buying a new one. He better not get anywhere near my new one. So, I'm going computer shopping this weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should get? Nothing too expensive but something worth it. And certainly nothing with Vista on it.

Ooh fun! Do you want a desktop or a laptop?

I love my mac, but a lot of people are anti-apple I know.......

PS happy birthday :)

We'd like a desktop. We don't really do that much with it other than cruise the internet. We do have some programs on there for Javi's business, invoices and stuff like that. We don't play many games on it other than just the few we might download from yahoo or something. I'm not anti-apple but I've never had a mac before.

Thanks!

Here's something to think about: get a Mac that runs both MacOSX and Windows. They're readily available. Since you had a computer that was running WinXP before, you should have the install disc. All you'd need to do is get the proper Mac (it'd already have OSX on it) and then install your copy of XP on it as well. Just make sure the hard drive is partitioned for a dual-boot setup or it won't work properly.

Theoretically, you could do the same with a PC as well -- dual-boot it with Vista and XP or even replace Vista with XP (but both of those options might require more work since most PC vendors wouldn't anticipate you opting for a dual-boot arrangement). However, all of the options described could be done, assuming you have your install disc for XP. The hardest part would be downloading and installing the two service packs and updates all over again.
