Does anyone here use Comcast? I have just been looking and notice that they do a package for $99 per month for the first year that includes, phone with unlimited local and nationwide long distance calls, cable with on demand and 100 channels and 6MBPS internet...

Are they good? Or would I be better of with Verizon? Or some other company?

I'm good, a little tired, but good. This new exercise routine I'm doing is kicking my butt. At least I think that's what it is. I can't sleep good. I haven't changed anything else, well except my diet. I'm kinda getting discouraged though because I'm not really seeing any results. I can tell my muscles are getting tighter but I haven't lost any of my flabbiness.

We use Comcast and we had that 33x3 deal for a year...it just finished and our bill went through the roof Anyways...we called them a couple of days ago and they offered some stuff which lowered the price a bit. They are not that bad but we are not super happy either...especially with the TV. We really really wanted to get DirectTv or Dishnetwork, much cheaper and international channels too, but for the 3rd time our apartment faces the wrong direction for the dish

I just noticed you're moving to MD...where to if you don't mind me asking? We're in MD too...

My colleague put a band aid around my fingertip and went to Starbux to get me a cinnamon roll (warmed up for me ) and that eased the pain

Thanks for that! I looked at what the price would be after the first year and they said it would go up to $139.20 a month... (What is the phone line like... Is it reliable?) I will look into Direct TV and dishnetwork too

Yes, the phone works well. The problem with Comcast is that for a reason or another our bill is never just 139.20$...our last bill was almost 200$!! What gets you is if you make some international calls every now and then or if you order a new release movie (they have an OnDemand section where the new movies cost 4.99$ each). The Internet works well too. As I said, overall they are ok, but the Dish would save you a lot of money for way more channels and options. Also another thing you might want to consider for the phone is Vonage...We used to have it and loved it, we never had a problem with it. It basically works with a fast internet connection and it is only 24.99$ a month. We disconnected because we went to Italy for 6 months, then when we got back we signed up for the 33x3 deal, but we are planning to go back to it. They used to have free international calls for 5 European countries too (Italy, UK and I don't rememeber where else lol), I think now they just have monthly plans for like 10$, btw it is all on their website

Also recently some new company started advertising on TV but I know nothing about it, maybe they are not even new I simply never noticed until recently...anyways...they are called Cavalier and they claim they have the lowest prices.

I'd like to do something different with our phone and internet but I don't know what. We have AT&T for phone and internet and Dish Network for tv. We could get internet through Dish but it's not any cheaper than what we have now. We can't cancel our phone and do Vonage because when we cancel our phone we'd also be canceling our internet. Then we've thought about completely canceling our phone and just using our cell phones but then we'd have no internet since they go together. It's like a never ending circle.
