It's the only German city with a skyline actually - mainly because it's the financial capital of Germany and the European Central Bank is here as well. Frankfurt has roughly 350 different financial insitutions.

So here is a pic of the Eurotheum, the tower in which the hotel is - with the Maintower (the building I work in) right next to it. My office is in the corner, on the level of the roof of the Eurotheum. Perfect peeking spot! But we are moving on the 25th to the other side of the building - no more dirty lunch breaks then!

i remember those buildings. when i was first there in 94, a few of us were walking back from sachsenhausen and there was a security guard out front and we asked what the building was and he said it was a bank. we were all awed. :P

You probably walked the way I walk to work every day - I live in Sachsenhausen! :)

I guess it's just us hopping then. Where is Pedro? :unsure: He's usually around. He must be busy at work. I know Charles is around because he's posted here and other threads. :( Nobody likes us anymore.

Yay!! I have hit another jackpot!!

Mel has gotten a ton of giftcards over the years- he stashes them in closets, drawers,etc and then forgets about them. I find them and use them. I have found a bunch for Barnes and Noble, Linens and things, and different restaurants.

I'm off to Linens and things. :)

hey it's a Friday miracle because I'm awake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only reason I"m awake it I woke up to pee and dammit I couldn't go back to sleep. then neil came in to go to sleep and he puts this stuff on his hands before bed because his knuckles are all jacked up and the smell was annoying me so I just got up. I will nap later or something.

one a happier note I just realised there is a pile of money on the desk. YAY! not too yay though because I have to deposit it and pay bills. it's yay for a bit though :)
