I had fried plantains and prawns once and it was one of the most delicious dishes I've ever encountered. Just the thought of it makes me drool!

there is a dish from southeast mexico that's like a plantain pie.. it has a layer of plantain, then beans on top, then cheese, and covered with another layer of plantain, and u bake it and eat it as a side dish.. is delicious...

I fear, I might be slowly losing it.

Plus I got a majoy headache and feel like someone has beaten me up. I think I am coming down with a cold.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I left early on Tuesday because I had a loan closing on our house, we refinanced. I wasn't here yesterday because we had court, I got my DL renewed, and we did some other things. I don't normally get on VJ at home because Javi hates it. He just doesn't get the concept. To avoid issues I usually avoid VJ. I do get on from time to time if I know it will be really quick.

I would but it's just easier to not cause conflicts. He just doesn't get why I feel the need to talk to complete strangers. He's really weird about that. He's very quiet and doesn't talk to someone unless he's got something to say. Even then it has to be important. He won't just talk about the weather or other general conversation things. We can go to dinner sometimes with my parents and he won't say a thing. Not because he's mad or anything, just doesn't have anything to say. I, on the other hand, can talk about anything with anyone. It's just a difference in our personalities. I try to respect that when I'm at home since I'm on VJ all day at work.

I just ordered lots of body shop products - I love their pink grapefruit series. I use the body wash and just bought the body butter, soap bar, body peeling and lip butter. The stuff smells wicked! Plus a tea tree face wash, which is so good and wakes you up in the morning.

Anyone else in love with body shop products as well? I have half the shop at home!

I haven't tried them but I love pink grapefruit. I may have to look into those. I have to be careful though because I'm allergic to tons of soap and stuff like that.

Nearly all of my products are either from The Body Shop or Lush.

The pink grapefruit range is great!

I have some awesome make-up brushes from The Body Shop; they're expensive but will hopefully last forever.
