You wanna hear something funny about that? Andre and I sit out back all the time and ponder crazy things. Yesterday it was why all the lightening around us was not coming out of our own yard and hitting our dog. The lightening show last night was absolutely beautiful, btw. Like 4th of July. We were also watching Discovery channel and pondering sharks; but that's too long a story to tell today. And, one of my favorites.....how everyone and everything knows what to eat. Like why dogs don't eat trees or something.

Anyhow, one day, it was why weed? Why can't we just go chop down some yard weeds and smoke them? Or roses? Something like that.

And before you say it, no, I am not drunk or anything else all the time. We just wax crazy philosophical every once in a while.

You guys ruined it anyhow. It was on 1301 when I logged in this morning. Damn you!

Dang girl. I thought A and I were the only one to have those kinds of wacky conversations. We could talk and yammer and laugh our a$$es off for hours on end. Then we have little key words from a private joke that would send us over the edge...friends would look at us like WTH???..which would only make us laugh harder.

I have missed you guys! It just got too much to log on here and check the I-130 thread and see all these people so upset and then I would get upset when petitioners months after our timeline were approved and I was still sitting in the black hole! I probably wont be on a lot either because I just cant get as obsessed over it as I was!

I have some news.... FINALLY....

I got notification today that my case (after 10 months) has been transferred from VSC to CSC for processing. It seems they are doing that with petitions in sept, oct, and nov. of 2007. SO THIS MIGHT FINALLY BE MY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pray for us!!!

Good morning ladies,

I am trying to muster up the strength to write this as it is a very difficult thing to admit to anyone let alone myself. Whatever was left of my relationship after my SO had a huge fallout two months ago is completely done. We are through and it seems he doesn't want anything to do with my baby either. There isn't much left to say other than I am devastated, I thought there might be a chance that we could work things out.

In any case, my question is since my petition is still at VSC and has not been approved yet, is there anything I should do to cancel it, or should I just let it run its course and let it expire after it is approved (if its ever approved)?

I was reading a previous post where someone mentioned that maybe these delays happen for a reason, like God is trying to tell you something and I guess in my case it seems to be that way. It has been almost 4 1/2 months since I applied and no approval nor an RFE, so I guess maybe God is trying to tell me something.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Keep your head up and trust that GOD has the perfect plan in store for you. I'm not going to tell you that it was for the best, because I don't know what God's plan is for you and your family. I'm praying that even if a relationship is not the plan for you and him, that there is a plan for him to be a part of his daughter's life. Our timetable is certainly not God's. Stay faithful and humble through prayer.
