Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

I must have sat in the kitchen for like 3 hours and till finally he threatened to spank me, so i gagged em down, but i promised as long as i was alive , i would never again eat a damn tail of anything

Girl, I have to tell you that I am dreading when Mike comes up. He is vegetarian and only eats fish for a protein source. I love me some meat and I know it is going to be a challenge for me to fix his meals. He keeps telling me that he will cook for himself and I say yeah, for how long. You know how they get. But anyway, like someone says you could make a pot roast or make some pork chops. All this can be done in the oven. Baked chicken with maccaroni and cheese. You are going to have to experiment and have him tell you what he likes. Good luck

Wakey can't turn on her oven - Dwayne won't allow a/c...she will melt fi true!:rofl:

Look just "Wakey"Buy a conventional oven and buy Dwayne his own a blanket!. WE SIGNED ON FOR ALL OF THIS! It just aint as attractive because aint no "Ocean w/tourist" here so it is not quite as attractive as in Jamaica <keep in mind that my SO is still in Ja, so when his ### gets here you all can throw the same back at me when I am telling yall I bought him some KFC gift certificates and told him good luck)

An electric blanket. Believe me, it works.

Wakey, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Wait till winter. Once he gets over the fascination of his first snow, he'll freak about the cold.

Pleeze Jomo promise me when Noel gets here you all will come over the 1st snow. So that we can laugh at the man who get cold in Jmaica at night. Im go to Family Dollar to get him some cheap leg warmers...lmao

We will. It's fun. Make sure you have the camera ready. Andre woke me up in the early a.m. to tell me it was snowing. I said yeah it will be later too. Then, he ran outside and danced in snow. Caught snowflakes on his tongue. Made a snow angel in the drive way. Luckily, his first was a paid snowday so we went to Carondelet Park and went sledding.

This year was brutal.

What do you tell him about the summer? I used to tell Andre it was hotter and colder in St. Louis then anything he has ever experienced. He didn't believe me. He reminds me from time to time that I was right.

I told Noel, Summer in St. Louis is Hott ### hell. Far hotter than Ja. And Winter is not a bad time to consider saving money so we can visit Ja. ALOTT!!!

This is for the folks that live in Georgia...

I have a co-worker planning to relocate to Georgia. She asked me to see if I could get this question answered... Thanks for your help...

Can you ask your friends which counties are ok? I’m looking at Gwinnett, Dekalb, and Rockdale. Schools and distance from Atlanta. I don’t want to be too far out. Maybe 25miles max out from Atlanta.

I told my co-worker that I have friends from all over....

Everything is 25 miles from Atlanta lol. Seriously, the areas you listed are great areas. I would also tell her to try Stone Mountain.

Thank you so much Wakey... :)

I hated coming back in winter, Journee. I had UGGs, Jeans, a sweat shirt.....to travel in. Slowly taking off layers through Atlanta and into JA. Coming back, you would forget and be left standing out in below zero temps with my stupid toes freezing off and cussing I still had sandals on.
