Sooooooo..it looks like everytime I post anything any this forum the "close group of friends" ignore me. I think people either gel or they don't and for what ever reason I'm not in the jello mold.

I joined this site because I thought we all had something in common, loving a man or woman in Jamaica, and my sister Jawi told me everyone was cool people to lean on while I was going through the journey. In the beginning that was the case and now umm not so much.

I will continue to jump on the site for research purposes. I just wanted you to know if you see me lurking.

I thank everyone that has helped me with interview and paperwork details up to this point.

I pray for everyone's success that is going through and awaiting your interviews.

Morning everyone, I'm sorry for going off and stormimg out of the room like that. I may be very sensitive right now because I'm ready for Dwayne to be here and it's really rough financially for us right now. I think I transferred these feelings to you guys and that's not right.

In defense of my post, I was beginning to see that I would respond to a subject that everyone was discussing and responses back would addressed to the names before or after mine. It wasn't several pages back in the thread but right up front. However, I should have handled it better. Mi sorry fi offend anybadi. Dem hormones making me one evil Bi$%%.

I think it is definitely the hormones. I was pretty pissed with D unbeknownst to him two days ago, and just wanted to be as bitchy as possible. But he is so sweet, so i cant stay mad for long..Lol

My day has started F-ed up already, i took money out of the ATM but it didnt dispense the funds,( @ a gas station) so of course , when i call, the gas station says call the company, and the company says call the bank and the bank aint freaking open yet, so i can see what kind of day im going to have...WOO SAH WOO SAH... anyhoo i hope everyone has a great day

Well, in my case, it is not my hormones all out of wack. When you tell a man you don't want to talk about it cause you are just going to end up yelling and it will do no good for anyone, don't you think he should listen?

Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

I started mine last night. We had apple martini's, dinner, and then ice cream for dessert.

I think I am busting out of here at around noon. Everyone is out at meetings all day. LOVE those kind of days. I want to go buy myself some caramel apple pistachio tea and I'm eyeing a giant Lucky Jeans Brand bag like Nancy Bottwin carries around in Weeds. I've been searching the internet all week to find the exact bag I want. Bet when I go to Macy's to find it, it won't be up to my expectations. We'll see. I am also eyeing those neon green Reboks.

My daughter and I are going school shopping for her (gasp! hiding bras and panties so no one else in the store can see us buying them---but not get arrested by security for shoplifting!) and we might all see a movie tomorrow. I want to see Mama Mia; but they are pushing for The Dark Knight.

There better be cake and presents sometime in there or someone dies in my house!

Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

I'm leaving the office at 1:00 today, signing refinance docs for my house at 1:30 which will leave me living on granola bars for the next week. I will drive straight from the bank to the lake where I will spend the next 4 hrs kayaking trying to destress from have to give the bank a chunk of money that I could've bought me 2 weeks in Jamaica.

JG I saw Mama Mia on Broadway with my mother - LOVED IT! It looks like the movie will be just as good. Since it's your birthday weekend you should get to pick. Saying a little prayer that everyone comes out of your house alive Monday am!!

I agree with the picking part, Island. But, if I have to weigh my wants with them crabbing all weekend, I will probably give in on this one. I'll pick a bigger battle to win!

Besides, a big tub of popcorn oozing with butter and I could sit through just about anything. There just isnt' anything like movie popcorn (or ballpark nachos)!

I hope the refi at least gives you lower payments somewhere, Island.

You have a Kayak? I was looking at them in the LLBean catalog this weekend and thinking I want one. Not that I have a place to row it; but still, sometimes you just want something cause you do.

Good plan w/ the movie JG, I heard today that Dark Knight is REALLY good too and I have never really cared for the batman series..SPIDERMAN baby!!!, but I want to see it now..

I saw Mama Mia last week w/ my daugh's..THEY LOVE musicals and I love Meryl Streep. We all thought it was great and it even had me crying. My 7 yr old was like "that is the best movie" and that is saying something seeing that she saw Space Chimps last week LOL

But u have to be a lover of that genre to appreciate it I think, so maybe its best u go by yourself or w/ friends.

the only dance i recognized was "doing the butt"!!

I do remember guess jeans and the earrings and the asymmetrical hairdos..

also when kid and play came out and we started wearing the overalls w/ one arm unhooked and kriss cross had us wearing our clothes "to the back w/ a lil slack, cus inside out is

I have to make my way up north sounds like ya'll have a lot of party places.. only thing I could remember from TX was the skating rink, but then again I was only like 12 or 13 then

I enjoyed talking about old skool last night. It brought back so many memories. I was like some of the yardies are going to come on this morning and say ####### where they up to last night. You would have thought we were sippin on something. lol DC is famous for Go-Go music. There's this guy name Chuck Brown that has been playing Go-Go since MY MOM was young and he's still going strong. When I was in JA, Ray was like turn that ####### off. That made me just pump up the volume. LMAO I like messing with him. He thinks I'm off the hook. He just called me to say good-morning and to tell me he was at the beacj chillin and taking in some cool breeze. I pushed buttons in his ear because I can't stand to hear him tell me he's at the beach and I'm in this hell hole working my buns off.

I think I have you beat. My car check engine light came on yesterday I figured I would get ti checked soon. Well it barely got me to work today and then I had to pray for it it take me around the corner to the repair shop. Please pray this isn't expensive. I too was Bit###in Dwayne out too. No reason at all just mad I am. Let me get it together and find my perspective.

Girl, me and my girlfriends tried to explain go-go to my SO when I was down there for my birthday in April. He looked at us like we had 3-heads.

Alright ladies, logging off to go talk to AW. He's mad because I had to get off the phone with him abruptly. LL Cool J came on "So You Think You can Dance" and I needed uninterrupted time to take in all that man has to offer.

My husband made me log on and try to find where we could vote to keep Twitch on last night. He was so upset when the guy was crying.

After he dissed ballet, I explained how truly athletic they are. After he watched the performance, he was like, wow! how did she do all that? Anyone seen "White Knights" with Hines & Barishnokov (sp?) in it? There is scene where Barishnokov has on these skin tight blue jeans. He puts his leg straight up against his body and stretches out against the wall. I think it is one of the sexiest scenes ever cause the guy is just too limber. LOVE him, btw. Anyhow, I was explaining this to Andre....how he needs to really think about how hard the movements are they are making and notice how it really does tell the story if you pay attention. He ruined the whole beauty of it by trying to stretch his leg up against our wall!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! He was stretching his leg on the wall. I would have peed in my pants laughing. I so upset that Will got voted off. I cried.
