Honey....you scare me and you are not even in my face. He probably peed himself.

JG, Im harmless and my heart is always in a good place. I have had to learn thru years of work experience that if you allow people to see weakness in you, if you never challenge anything and dont stand up for yourself, they go for the jugular. I used to be so scared of offending, or losing my job, or being unliked, Now i dont give a rats #######... I do my job, and i do it well. I am the sole provider for two boys, i will not let another ignorant person feel as if they can say, do or treat me anyway they want. He was in the wrong, and everyone knew it, but no one wanted to say anything about it, because everyone thinks he is so cool, even my dyam supervisor... When I first started working directly with him, two years ago he used to also make sexual comments and racial comments, but everyone laughs it off, so yesterday i decided enough is enough!!!! He has called me oreo, offered to hook me up with his black friend who acts white, etc...it is never ending with this guy!!!!!

Island it means, he doesnt think i act what he " thinks black people act like" and neither does his friend whom he calls " carlton ( from the fresh prince of bel air) so therefore, he thinks we would be a good match..LOL..... its a good thing i have a thick skin or i would have quit a long time ago!!!

What does that mean???!!!

JG,

Ahhh, I can't think of a better way to spend my non-working days. Is that when you met your husband?

No; but soon after.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Sooooooo..it looks like everytime I post anything any this forum the "close group of friends" ignore me. I think people either gel or they don't and for what ever reason I'm not in the jello mold.

I joined this site because I thought we all had something in common, loving a man or woman in Jamaica, and my sister Jawi told me everyone was cool people to lean on while I was going through the journey. In the beginning that was the case and now umm not so much.

I will continue to jump on the site for research purposes. I just wanted you to know if you see me lurking.

I thank everyone that has helped me with interview and paperwork details up to this point.

I pray for everyone's success that is going through and awaiting your interviews.

Take care Wakey!

WAKEY, I hope you have your PATWAH dictionary near you..

Question?

Can any of the submitted forms be printed on 2 sided paper, or should every page be printed on a single page.

Should I submit a cover letter when I am submitting the I130?

Should my letters of a affidavits for proof of a bonda fide martial relationship be notirized?

Thanks

Roxcie

OMG!! Is that really how the line is?

What the heck is this website they are talking about where you can schedule appointment dates? Does that pertain to us as K1 or that only vistor's visas? No wonder I can't get a date. It has been 1 month today since DS230 drop off. Just called 202 - nothing yet. Now I see why.......

KISS mi neck a wah a gwaane a Kingston and that's just for NON-immigrant visa. Lord, help us.

Update on my girlfriend. She received her interview date, which is scheduled for next month. She will not go through with it...too much hurt....she'll have her baby and move on with her life. She's already started the divorce process.

Okay....ya'll making me CRY

WAKEY I'm serious

JENGS; I'm so sorry sis, but as my grandmother would say one door close nex one afi open...been there too many times to mention. Things will happen for you.

JAEnglish;

I use to do translation also from patwah to English. The job was fun for a while, but after 6 months it became a big HEADACHE after a while (not trying to discourage you) I think the word I'm looking for is TEDIOUS (may have spelled it wrong). And you have to swear to and sign an affidavit to everything that is translated (not sure if you position is like that). Look at all your options and find what works for you. When I get multiple job offers I always send a thank you not to each employer (just in case the job I take does not work out). That's how I ended up at my job where I'm at now. I received 4 offers and took the one that paid the most money of course, WHAT A MISTAKE...that biatchhhhh of a boss that wanted me to pick her up at the airport at 6am on a Saturday (I guess she's still waiting)...that was 11 years ago. Wishing you all the best sis and I'm still holding you to that offer.
