I'm worried as I have family in Brownsville..Although they may be use to the hurricanes I'm a midwestern gal and we don't them in Ohio...

It's coming ashore as we speak. I've been watching some video. I am praying so hard. I honestly don't know why I feel this way today. Maybe you are channeling some of your worries to me today.

Same here in St. Louis. Although they are predicting some residual tornados in that Brownsville area. Those I can understand!

Hugs to you, Ty. I am hoping for the best for your family.

It's crazy...I think in my mind I dismissed it b/c it's 'only' a Cat 1...but when I saw the news this morning...Cat 1 or Cat 5 a Hurricane is still a hurricane and it did look pretty bad!

I remember how I felt last year with Hurricane Dean headed to JA. I thought I was gonna die...if something happened to my Honey!

TY, your family and others in the Hurricanes path are in my prayers!

It's possible they may say it was Category 2 when it hit, Gill. The details will filter in later. And, yeah, that's what I'm thinking......it's going to be destructive no matter what they call it.

I'm not sure about JALove. I hope if she is in Texas, she is far inland.

TNW......AP is fine for travelling all by itself. But, he has a job now, right? Better file EAD immediately too or you are going to have employment issues.

Thanks JG for the info. We'll file AOS/EAD/ AP all at once....just wondered if the AP was enough to travel cause it seems like the AP and EAD come back Before the AOS does, right? Either way, we're hoping to send it all out before the end of August for sure.

Hope ur family is o.k.....I have an uncle and family in houston but I think they're gonna be fine. Not sure if JALOVE is actually in Texas but I know she talked about heading either there or Maryland last we spoke.

Hey K.....Dave's doing good girl. He's been working on his JFK permit since he got here and the supermarket he's at is planning on keeping him after AOS if he wants the job. He's still adjusting to Pittsburgh and the social life but he's made a few friends at work and uses public transportation almost everyday. He got himself a savings account and his own cell phone this month so he's coming along.

I just went back to work so it's been a little hectic but so far, so good with the relationship. I just gotta convince Dave that me and my friends might not go to all the Reggae spots in the city every weekend (LOLLLLLLLLL) but other than that, life's good!

When filing for AOS doesn't it now include AP and EAD so that your only paying the one (BIG) fee?

big ups to marcel and tre on her big day and amen to the beautiful VJ prayers that blessed their union this morning..

The few times I have talked w/ JA, she was always coming here to the Dallas/ForthWorth area which is inland and safe from the hurricane sites. My prayers do go out to the people on that side of Texas though, incl your family Ty..

The fee automatically inlcudes all of it. But, you don't have to file all if you don't want to. Nothing is required but the AOS.
