Can someone who writes really nice prayers, write one for me today? Having followed this stupid storm this week, I feel this overwhelming sense of dread for Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Mexico. That hurricane will be on shore in just under a few hours. They are pretty much predicting 8 hours of hell for these people....winds, rain, flooding of the Rio Grande, levees breaking... It is predicted to be really bad for them.

On the good note, if this hurricane would have another 24 hours out on the water, it would be so much worse. Thank God, it's not going to have that time.

Anyhow, I don't know why I feel so compassionate today for a place I know not a single soul in. But, I do.

I finally received the pictures that he mailed me back in June!

Now I keep going over all our paperwork to make sure it is all in order and I plan on sending it in mid next week.

I don't know why I am so nervous, I hope I have everything.

That's a good thing - check it over really good as if you were looking at it for the first time. Make sure you filled out every line that asked a question, even if there was no answer to it.

I'm worried as I have family in Brownsville..Although they may be use to the hurricanes I'm a midwestern gal and we don't them in Ohio...

It's coming ashore as we speak. I've been watching some video. I am praying so hard. I honestly don't know why I feel this way today. Maybe you are channeling some of your worries to me today.

Same here in St. Louis. Although they are predicting some residual tornados in that Brownsville area. Those I can understand!
