I love, love , love when my SO speaks patois...it sounds so sexy to me, and then he tends to stammer a bit once he starts talking too fast which i think is even cuter.

Lawny, i cant wait to see your wedding pics, i am really excited for you. Are you planning on any type of honeymoon.

Girl I love it too.. heck I love to hear ANYBODY chat patois LOL RG says he finds it hard to talk to me though cuz he knows i don't know what he is saying..

I tell D sometimes, you know i dont know what in the hell your saying so slow down...and then he will start laughing. One thing, now though he doesnt try as hard to speak perfect english, when he is tired or relaxed he will lapse into patois, which is what i want, i want him to be comfortable around me, you dont have to use perfect english,

Well, got a job finally.

It's as a school photographer taking photos of elementary age kids.

Not thrilled about it, low pay and a 35 mile journey, but at least it's SOMETHING....

I too love to hear Dwayne speak in Patois. It's funny but I never liked it nor understood any of it before meeting him and I've had a couple of JM boyfriends. Dwayne won't talk to me in it much though he said he feels like he is talking rough to me and doesn't like it. lol

:ot: I was just checking out this phone connection using your USB on the computer called Magic Jack. It's 19.95 per year! Has anyone in the yardie family tried it??

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Yes it is through the modem. I've never seen the other companies you mentioned but I will check them out. For $20.00 a year I could deal with it only going down every now an again. I could use my cell in those times. But I need to do everything I can to combat these gas and grocery bills. Lawd have mercy!

I do take photos privately, but I guess it's hard networking here because I don't really know anyone!!

Good thing about the job I guess is that it's Monday to Friday and I should be done by 3pm, which gives me time to do my own photography!

Thanks for the compliment :)

alright Ms. Lawny and Mrs Young, im gonna need some Patois lessons soon, my SO's brother talks so dang fast till 95% of the time im only understanding every other word. My SO rarely speaks Patois too me, though i ask him too all the time and he appreciates that im really trying hard to learn, but does the understanding come in hearing it more or understanding it phonetically?

I can understand the spoken word but have a really hard time with it written.

JG -- you've always done well understanding what's written.

You know what it does to me though.

You all ready for Wednesday, Tre?

Yes, I'm ready now. I love my dress it's cream and I can wear it anywhere. It's beautiful, doesn't look like a wedding dress at all and the funny thing is it was 2 guys that was at the shop that suggested it. I didn't want a dress. Skirt, blouse and flipflops would have done me fine...but my sister and friends were tripping so I went to David's bridal $99 sale..dress ending up being $79 it was originally $1100 ( I was like WHAT)...that looks like a nightgown, just a little thicker. The dress was from 2 summers ago, old style and discountinued. Now, all I need is some heels, since my so is 6'5...I still thinking about the flip flops.

I can't wait fi see the picture dem...u will mek a BEAUTIFUL bride!!

:luv: Gill

P.S. I wore this fabulous flip flops...and everyone laughed cause that is so me!!! I LOVE my flip-flops...Ken always says mi neva si a ooman wid so many different different pairs of slippers...(aka Flip-flops) BE COMFOTABLE...IT'S YOUR DAY CHICA!!!

Hotlegz, i actually purchased Magicjack, before i discovered Ringyard, i paid $40 for it, but failed to read the fine print before i ordered it. Once you install it onto your computer and hook your phone into it, it automatically gives you a new phone number, which i dont want and then in order to use it to call JA, which was my purpose, you still are paying a cents per minute international rate, but if i was to just call around in the states and to canada it would be free. It is of little use to me, because i use my cell phone to call long distance and my friend in canada comes across the bridge from windsor into detroit, so she has an american cell phone #. If you want it, i would be glad to ship it to you, No strings attached, at the time i was just trying to find any alternative to making cheaper phone calls,. the only upside i can find to it is that they say you can hook it to your computer if your outside of the country, hook a phone line into it, and call back home to the states for free, but hell when i was in JA i could get no internet access though the resort advertised it.

Congratulations on getting the job JaEngy!! Remember, this is your FIRST step, not your FINAL step...betta job soon come for you ;)

Lawny I feel like you should somehow podcast your wedding over the internet so that we can all be there with you!!:lol:

And what's the deal wid everybody and di ovulation calendar? You know what, I actually used it to NOT plan a trip to JA in August during that time!! I was trying to figure out when I would be most fertile, and would't you know it happened to be during the time that I was going to see my hubby! :hehe: I decided not to tempt fate...since I REFUSE to be pregnant alone (I have to have somebody to pamper me/yell at/feed me/keep me sane-- and why not let it be the man responsible for the situation in the first place!), we're trying to wait another year...although he did tell me 2day that he had a dream that I gave him 2 likkle boys. I was like "Oh yeah? Who did they belong to?" He started laughing and called me crazy...
