BIg Ups to you Gill, you inspire me, all of the ladies on here do....for so many years i cared about what other people thought, and even when i got involved in this LDR, it is hard to hear stupid ish from people day in and day out!!!! but you know what im happy, im happier than i have been in a long time and i think i dyam deserve to be!!!! When people make snap comments, i tell them you can meet a fool anywhere, you cant predict the outcome of any relationship, there is no crystal ball to determine the odds, so ** it!!! i pray about it, leave it in gods hands and let it go!!!! and that should go for each and every one of us, because i know at times we all have minor doubts, or things that stir our souls when people talk, but were gonna be all right. Alright that is my empowered women speech for the day...LOL

Honey

And after all that tell them like Erika Badu.....................I work at pleasing me cause I can't please you and that why I do what I do.........and if you don't wanna be down with me you don't pick from my APPLE TREE!

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Intimacy....In/to/me/see...

What a day I'm having. So, I called to schedule my SO visit with the civil surgeon and I'm told he has to do a full physical. I thought all they had to do was verify the vacinnation records. I have a copy of his medical from Jamaica. Someone help me before I start pulling out my eyelashes. I had to go change my clothes. My beautiful off white linen dress is now BROWN, because of that clumsy ediat.

Ok Lawny...not you got me shook!!

What is this? I thought if I had Ken Vaccinnation records from MoBay Hope...we didn't have to go through civil surgeon...did I read that wrong?

Let me know...Gill

That's my understanding also. But I was told that the information on his vaccination record had to be transfered to some new form 693A and signed by a civil surgeon (Someone please correct me, if I was given the wrong information. When we came through Baltimore I was given a copy of his medical (because I asked for it). I'm was just going to attached that to the AOS. Immigration has the other 4 copies. That's why they wanted 4 pictures at the medical. Four copies are made of your medical. That's the paper work I saw when we were with the immigraiton officer and I asked is it possible to have a copy of that and he said sure. Hope this helps. Girl, I'm suppose to be asking you for help, Mrs. Young.

Thoughts for the day - I thought this was a good one for all of us

I Believe...

That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do love each other.

I Believe...

That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I Believe...

That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I Believe...

That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I Believe...

That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I Believe...

That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I Believe...

That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I Believe...

That you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I Believe...

That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

I Believe...

That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I Believe...

That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I Believe...

That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I Believe...

That my best friend and I, can do anything, or nothing and have the best time.

I Believe...

That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

I Believe...

That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I Believe...

That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I Believe...

That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others. sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I Believe...

That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I Believe...

That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but, we are responsible for who we become.

I Believe...

That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life Forever.

I Believe...

Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I Believe...

That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.

I Believe...

That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help.

I Believe...

That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I Believe...

That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

I Believe...

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything.

JG,

Nice Coach bag. Don't feel bad though that's me in a nutshell. If I want something bad enough that I just can't shake it, I will work at it until I can get it. Saving, selling some extra Avon or whatever. And don't get me started on the QVC channel when they have their Dooney & Bourke specials. Gets me every time. I almost ordered one a few months ago until I reminded myself of this very expensive VISA process that I'm going thru..

I don't feel bad. I'm ticked right now. Hubby just told me at lunch that he didn't save any of the extra $400 he made in the last month on his side jobs, so he can't buy me a birthday present. I reminded him every day that he worked that he needed to save some. The day he came home with a new hat and shirt for himself, how pissy I would be if he didn't get me a birthday present. I reminded him every time he had something he NEEDED.

I have every right to be mad. I'll be damned if I am apologizing. I was just being sarcastic.

The Comfort Inn we stayed at was on the 1200 block of 13th Street, Tre.

Go away from the direction of the White House (I'm sorry, I'm horrible with directions), up 13th.

On the same side of the street as Caribou Coffee, right behind it, still on 13th, is this little Japanese looking store.

Andre found a bunch of really cool, CHEAP hats there both times we were in D.C.

Send Marcel there.

Otherwise, I feel your pain. I can't ever find any toilet paper in our house cause each one of his hats in neatly lined on a shelf in his closet with a roll of TP keeping it in shape!
