Yes, please hold my hand. I'm so confused about this part of the process, but I guess I'll figure it out.

I peaked into the next step of AOS, but quickly closed the door on that!!! I said no way...I'll worry about it after the interview.

 Nope, I'm not doing it...... Not yet.

why is that your days off go by so friggin fast? If I was at work it would 10am...

That's what A & I always say when we are on the phone. That is the fastest hour of the day!

Get your laundry done??

Most of it. Everything else has to wait...

Lawny,

You are truly off the chain. I'm at work sitting at my desk cracking up..

Yes he is going to Mobay Hope. After he told me what he was told to bring I called myself. I know he's not going to need all those shots. I believe he does have a regular doctor. He's suppose to be checking with his mother to see if she has a copy of his shot record. If she doesn't then he is going to go and get a copy from the doc's office. Heck he still has to pay the VISA fee so I hope he won't have to pay all that for the medical.

Ms Osbourne is VERY nice. I don't remember exactly...but I want to say Ken paid a little more than $150 US and that was getting majority of his shots at MoBay Hope (he lost his med records) , not to mention most of them were outdated anyway!

Good luck and like Lawny said ...PLEASE DO NOT STRESS...I KNOW EASIER SAID THAN DONE!!!! But TRY not to worry...you will be fine!

Bless,

Gill

oh my, ladies, TYMoore even after continuing to read up on the filing process it just makes me sick. When i left JA yesterday i was so sad, i didnt eat until today around 1 becuase i felt so sick. Im still really sad and when i hear about the delays with Shrewdie and Lita and people waiting for interview dates, it just stresses me more because i know it will be just that much longer. Fortunately my SO is really good at "conserving" as he calls it, but being off of work for two weeks, has kind of set him back a bit and OMG he looks like a starving child, he lost so much weight while he was out, not eating much until his mouth healed...LOL...poor thing, i just want to bring him home, feed him and love him up so more :hehe:

Girls, just remember the expenses do not end once he arrives here.

Don't make any promises about trips back till you see how it goes.

JG ---

That is so true. I wrote that in my handbook back in January along with the discussions about phone calls, bills, etc....

It took my SO 3 days to figure out the bus system. Now, he's gone shopping again and he's joined the gym. I told him be better no spend off the money he brought from JA with him cause we're going to need it. It's going to be a while before you're working.

VETSSSSSSS

I'm getting advice from friends that have recently filed AOS (about 3 months ago) to wait, because USCIS is backed up. What do you think?

What does waiting do, Tre? Just puts you further back in the line.

It comes and it goes, you know. Very hard to predict.

I AGREE!!! F-IT!!! One way or another... I am filing for Ken's AOS by the end of this month! Hopefully he'll get through by December!! It's the exact same time I waited for the NOA2...what's another 5 months off my life...waiting for the USCIS to get it together!!! It's harder to read the stats on AOS vias VJ than it was for NOA2's...Cause it's all over the dyam place!

OYE VEY USCIS!!!! Cyan't wait til mi done wid dem once han for ALL!!!

Honey,

We ALL know how you are feeling...coming home STINKS...to put it mildly! But try to pick up the pieces and get it together. I am sure your Sweetie would not want to hear that you are not eating!!! You have to take care of yourself also...OK!?!?!

The filing process is the filing process...what I realized is it is so much more overwhelming reading about it than once you jump in and start doing it! About a year ago I came on here and started reading about others filings and thought...oh HELL NO ...there's no way in Hell I can do this...and guess what little by little it was done!

Everyone's filing's are different...so take your time...ask us questions and it WILL work out! :luv:

Bless-ed love always,

Gill

Okay I have to put this out there. Those of you who remember my cousin's ex fiance INDIAN who showed up for his interview after my cousin ended the relationship with him after finding out he had another woman pregnant in Jamaica. Anyway, I was in Pier 1 with my fiance and about 40 or so of his friends celebrating his friends marriage earlier that day. I see my cousin's ex who pushes pass me. I didn't say or do anything. My fiance's friend went to grab after him, but I told him don't worry cause he's looking to start trouble. Well, I walked out to the Pier to get some fresh air and here he comes cussing and carrying on calling me a P**SSY and informer and that I messed up his relationship (so, I turn my back to him) now, he's in my face. I told him to back the "F" up and fi go wash im tinkin mout. I turned to walk away and he tried to SPIT on me. Now, the Pier was packed and I didn't know that my fiance was walking towards me. r I don't know when my fiance's FIST made contact with INDIANS's face, but he was out like a light. Security picks him up threw him and his friends outside and told the friends after he wakes up he's not allowed to come back to the club for several months. That was Friday night.

Fast forward to Saturday night at Magaritaville he tries to start sh*t in there too, so my fiance and his friends was like anytime you ready. I told him and his friends NO, he's not worth and and I told my fiance your A$$ don't need to get into any trouble because our interview is in a few days, so we left and go to a dance one of his friends was having. Well, you think he would have learned his lesson from getting knocked the hell out from the night before. Him and his massive crew shows up and the dance (which had no SECURITY) tried to start some mess. My fiance's best friend gave him his car keys and told him to leave because our car was parked to far up the hill and the crowd of men were coming down the hill. We leave and go back to the hotel since it was about 5 in the morning. My fiance's friends call us around 5:30 and told us that the police had to rescue INDIAN and his friends. First of all how you going to try and start a fight with your crew in an area they not from and no one knows them. So, they got beat the hell down and a lot of men who was at the dance remembered that he tried to spit on me in the club and my man had to knock him out.

Even better; his new wife was sent a letter informing her that he had two prior filings that were no completed. I'm guessing from USCIS. We also found out that he was married before in Jamaica in the 90s (don't know what happened with that) The new wife also found about the pregnant woman. So, now he's facing a lifetime ban. Haaaaaaaa is all I can say.

Lawny, is Indian's real name Brian? real thin, dark skinned, works on the beach with AL? Lawd, say it aint so...lol...he was trying to holla at one of my girls, who is probably three times his size when i was down visiting my SO in april. guess the game is the same no matter where you go!!!!

I have a request.

Please pray for my girlfriend and her husband. Seems that the wait for an interview date in Kingston is taking a toll on their marriage and her A$$ of an husband is not being supportive - called last night to tell her that he was not alone and that he did his best to prevent this, but he's a man...####### is all I can say right now. My head is spinning and I can hear the hurt in her voice. On top of that she's pregnant and don't need the added stress.

What an a$$ :angry::angry:

Not for nothing Lawny...G-d does every darn thing for a reason. I hope she really thinks about what he just did to her last night! THAT is NOT love!!! LOVE is NOT calling your PREGNANT wife to tell her you are f-ing another chick!! I know she probably does not want to see it right now...but if he can do something like that to her when she is carrying HIS child...what will happen when he gets here? Anyway she will re-think bringing him up for a while?

She is in my prayers...b/c either way is a lose/lose situation (except for the blessing she is carrying)...support her Lawns...cause that can't be easy!

Bless,

Gill

Ever think why the visa/interview is delayed? Maybe that is God's sign to her. Help her open her eyes Lawny. Yeah, I know she is pregnant and all but we all can manage without a man. He looks liek he will bring her more heartache when he is here with her.

You are all moving, Classy? If so, there is no way I would let her back in till she put up the money she NOW owes you. A deal is a deal. Figure out the cost and bill her for it. That's BS what she did. I'm sorry; but what she did is trying to move out at the end of a lease without paying the balance. She owes you one way or another.

exactly, I hate it when people don't give me advance notice, now u have to scramble at the last minute and jobs just don't care about what is going on in your house

I hate that many people are not nice and trust worth in this world. Being nice gets you no where to. I would do what Jomo said. I wouldn't give her back her things until I get paid either. I am so sorry you are going through this.

Mawning Family,

I have good news to share this morning. Ken was doing some work for my hair dresser over the weekend and this guy she knows came through the shop when Ken was there. He works interior construction and utility maintainance on apartment buildings are NYC and LI. So, he was telling my hair dresser how he has so much work and needs good people BADLY. She immediately introduced him to Ken and now Ken has a new F/T job!!!

G-D IS GOOD ALL THE TIME...ALL THE TIME G-D IS GOOD!!!

Here's the best part.

Ken told him what he used to do at the HI back in JA and the guy saw the work Ken had done on the beauty shop and hired him on the spot!! Ken is now making A NOICE PISSA FOOD NOW!! And that's just to start. The guy told Ken that once he proves himself his $$ will go up fast! That's the Pro...the Con...he's working NON-STOP 6 days a week, 10-12 hours a day!

But I am happy for him, because this is what he really wanted to do from the get-go! Honestly, if I had to hear him tell me ONE MORE TIME that he needs to find another job on his days off from the restaurant ...I would have been a widow shortly! He LOVES working and HARD LABOR type stuff. So he is going to use this opportunity to learn and build himself up!

We are truly blessed...G-d has been so good to us...sometimes I feel like Charlotte in 'Sex and the City'movie. Like life is just too good...when's the next shoe gonna drop? I know crappy attitude...but true! Well like Ken says "The sea can't rough everyday...wan day the sea mus calm!" I guess this is the day! Let me just enjoy today and not worry about tomorrow...right?

Bless,

Gill

Gill, how wonderful!!!:dance: Your man has talent and if he was lazy and did not do that side job the guy wouldn't have found him. I love his attitude. Tell him "big up":yes:

Island woman,

Thanks! yes I did have a good trip. Actually got to spend some time with the inlaws as well. Its so hard for both of us

whenever I have to leave[/b. He's already called me this morning. But prayerfully he will be here within the following weeks..

Tymoore -- that is such an understatement... I definitely feel you about how hard it is to leave your SO ! I just left JA on Tuesday and I cried at dinner the night before I left, I cried in the morning when we woke up on Tuesday, I cried on the ride to the airport and I cried when we had to say goodbye at the airport. Everytime I started to cry my SO would start to tear up too-- we must have looked crazy to the people around us, but I couldn't help it. It definitely doesn't get easier to leave.

Unruly, sorry i missed you gal, i had a great time in JA, and like you said i didnt leave until sunday morning but the tears for me started on thursday night, and then saturday night and then sunday morning was really difficult for us both. It took everything in me not to cry all the way from Ochi to Mobay, the driver kept trying to make small talk, and the airport was the worst, sitting in the terminal with a snotty nose and a tear stained face :crying: I am planning on going back in October, but right now that seems so far away.

Hey ladies, just wanted to say hello to all. Just returned from JA after many delays and getting stranded in Florida, but im home. I miss my SO already, and must have spent the last 8 hours crying off and on :crying: . As for him, he is doing well, his head looks like someone tried to split a coconut with a machete... ;) but it is healing and he is back on his feet. Im not complaining and wouldnt allow him to either, as GOD is good and he is here to tell about it. He is all pressed about the scar in his head and his hair not growing properly in the area, i told him you better wear that dyam scar as a badge of honor that you are able to live and tell about it. The weather was nice and we had a great time, now i have to figure out how not to fall into depression about us being apart again. Does this ever get any easier???? doesnt feel like it sometimes. alright it is nearing 3 am and im getting delirious with sleep. Plus i have a lot of reading to do to catch up.

Unruly, PM me when you get a chance and tell me how your trip was.

Be Blessed Ladies

Honeychild

It never gets any easier.

Ditto. I know it seems far in the distance but soon you will have every day of your life to spend together. It will be here before you know it. I think it is hard to leave your LDR every time.

I am so sorry, Tre.

I have heard a lot of women accept this kind of behavior from their men with the whole "he's a man (shrug)" attitude. ####### is that?

I hope she is giving him hell. He's so not worth her efforts.

Morning everyone! Lawny that is absolutely terrible about your friends husband. You know that reminds me of a ex-boyfriend a while back. When I found out he was cheating he gave me the same line..a man needs variety etc. He told me that his mom and dad survived 30 years of marriage because she understood this and allowed her dad to be a man as long as he didn’t bring it in her face. He asked me to do the same with him and we could have a happy marriage!!!! WTH!!

I will pray for your friend’s patience, strength, and trusting herself during this trying time.

Oh this is horrible. My thoughts and prayers go out to your friend.

This weekend I cleaned out one of my closets. Last weekend another one. Next weekend one more. Dang this sharing space is hard. You have to throw stuff out you been holding on for years. Not like I can even fit most of it. I did the dresser drawers a while back so I'm getting ready ya'll!!

Wakey

LOL!! I totally understand. My hubby has lived her a year and we have so much stuff now and with the little one our 2 bedroom condo is cluttered. I am having a garage sale soon and getting rid of tons of stuff I can't stand it. My mom is going to babysit the week my husband goes to Jamaica and I am going to be clearing out the house. He has gained weight sense he got her to so I told him to put the clothes he doesn't fit into anymore in a garbage bag before he leaves Thursday. I have big plans when he is gone. Fun right LOL

Oh some stuff I am not throwing away I asked my granny and mom if they could store some in there basement if they did not mind. My storage space shrunk when we had to put 2 cars in the garage.
