Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Must be nice to be able to marry outdoors in August. Here, it would be impossible.....we'd be melty messes in minutes.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

Wakey - reading your story made ME nervous but congratulations! Sheeesh! I guess they have no need for customer service.

IrieCat - that is wonderful about your wedding plans and getting married by falls. Everything seems to be falling into place.

Honey - still sending out a prayer for your SO. I hope you talk to him soon!

I just sat on hold forevvvvver (ok - only 17 minutes) with NVC to see if the Embassy had assigned an interview date and not yet. Argh. It seems something may have been wrong with the DS230 part I that my SO sent in. I will try sending an email to the Embassy again to see if there is something I can do. Lawd! This tests a girl's patience.

OH I am sure I will be a hot mess! LOL

I was thinking about Louis being cold! But we will be doing the ceremony in the evening under the trees and by the river so it shouldnt be too bad. Maine has some unpredictable weather though... So its kind of like playing the lottery!

Tierra will be the flower girl/maid of honor LOL all mixed up. No one else will be standing up with us. My aunt will marry us.

I just have to figure out the party after.. hopefully on my aunt's farm. My friends and I all enjoy a drink and you cannot drink in public places in Maine so no booze at the park.. beleive me I am gonna need a shot or 2 that day!

We had music, dancing, cake, and alcohol flowing in our back yard. Topped off my fireworks. It was awesome.

Good Thursday morning Everyone!

Honey - I hope you can talk to your man today. It is good news that he is at home though!

.. Yesterday Tierra, Louis and I took a walk around the 'hood... I live near a really pretty park with a river/waterfall running through it. Louis said he wouldnt mind getting married there... so I e-mailed the park director and YES! They have the night available that I want and it is only $50! Oh I am happy - some good news! I originally wanted the beach but the river reminds me of the places Louis and I would go in St Lucia. Its also a 5 minute walk from my apartment and the sounds the falls make is so nice. Now lets pray for sun on August 23rd! ^_^

Thats sounds beautiful. It makes me smile hearing how everything is so nicely falling into place for your family! :star:

a lot of things have started to fall into place...so in a couple of months i will start taking classes at a local college and be able to stay home with Kaila....which is great!!

alright guys, because im trying to keep focused on other things, i just got an email in my box from spirit airlines, with cheap flights to florida and the carribbean. It may be worth checking out but you have to book today .69 cents one way airfare, valid for travel from July 4th thru october 31st. Knowing spirit, there are probably fees up the *@, but it may be worth checking out, as we all seem to be frequent travelers. I cut and pasted this chunk below directly out of my email, hope it helps someone.

Spirit is expanding its promotions beyond new service to Bogota, Colombia. Act fast to take advantage of new fares from $0.69 one-way to Florida and Caribbean destinations. Other routes also start at the very affordable one-way rate of $34.50.

These are great prices, but availability is limited.

I got that yesterday. They never work for me. Not that we want to go right now anyhow.
