Hello..There is still hope for those awaiting an interview date...

I called the NVC again today and spoke to a supervisor who claims that the KGN interviews are still being scheduled as of today. I adv her that last night an operator read me the 'script' and advise that KGN interviews were scheduled and we were not included. The supervisor today apologized. I don't know who is playing but at least there is still hope.

So for all those still awaiting an interview date PRAY.

Thanks Forbes. My girlfriend called me this morning crying because when she called NVC this morning they told her that they were done scheduling for June and she probably won't get one until July.

She is so stressed out right now, I don't know what to say to her anymore.

OK, I have to vent! Ken just calls me and says some random fellow he works with saw our wedding picture and loved my outfit and now wants to know if I can take his fiancee shopping for a wedding dress b/c David's Bridal is too expensive han dem pon ah budget! Then my Husband puts the man on the phone. He tells me his fiancee is a size 18 and is having trouble finding anything 'reasonable'!

I tell him about a wholesale Dressy dresses outlet about 20 minutes from where he and Ken work...Homeboy then says ..."Yuh knoa wat...I haffi wuk pon Saturday...but I will tell har fi tek deh bus han come here afta she finish wuk at noon han yuh cyaan meet har here han tek har tuh deh place." :blink: WTBumbarasclaatFhockery is dis! Like I don't have a dyam ting fuh duh den cart dis yah ooman around looking fuh wedding dresses!!!!

I then told him I was busy on Saturday...but would be more than happy to tell them ow fuh get out deh pon deh bus! The renking man ave deh nerve fi seh..."Wat bout Sundeh den? Ken tell mi yuh nuh really ave too much plan pon Sundeh!! Plus, I'm hoff pon Sundeh suh I cyan guh wid onnuh, jus meet us hup here hat noon shall we seh? At this point I am like...

I told him I would haffi git back tuh him...he says "By tiddeh puh-lease..wi haffi git dis ting sort hout!!!"

Ken then has the G-d given sense to call me back and says..."Baby Gurl, mi never knoa hit wouldda guh dung suh! Mi sarry!" I told him..."Don't be sorry, just know seh...I am NOT doing it...wat yuh decide fi tell yuh friend is pon yuh!"

OK, AM I WRONG? I don't know this man or his fiancee from a blinking whole in the wall! Not to mention, what exactly am I suppose to do with the boys! They hated going shopping for their wedding suits not to mention some random woman they dont know!! Because of course Mr. Young is working on Sunday!

So Lawny! Tell me more about the bootcamp. Is everything done out side? Are you running and climbing ropes and crawling through mud and stuff like Marines?

It sounds exciting. I've been going to the gym 4-5 days a week for 2 months. I've only lost 10lbs. I'm so disappointed in myself. Don't know why it's so hard for me to lose. I'm eating right VegeTABLES and chicken and fish.

People are saying they can see a difference and I see it a little in some clothes but others I must have been squeezing this tail in dem ca me knoa see no difference!!

I could do a bootcamp after work for sure!

Try tracking your measurements, not the scale - When you go to the gym and work out hard, you build muscle which weighs more than fat - so you can appear to not be losing (and you technically aren't losing pounds) but you are losing inches because you are toning.

Tell me about it! I need to start tracking my measurements. I work out like crazy and have lost nothing... in weight that is, but I have dropped two pants sizes . Getting complements all over the place. It doesn't help for the doctor to tell you your still morbidly obese (cause I am according to my weight) or you have this cause you need to lose a few pounds. I wish they would go off something more than just height/weight measurement. There is more to being healthy than just weight measurement. That boot camp sounds nice, might shock my body into losing a few actual pounds. I down loaded a workout routine off the Air Forces' web site, I'm hoping to find time to add it in soon, it's nothing more than running, walking, push ups, jumping jacks...with time limitations. I tried the push-up, hard as hell, I can only do five in one setting.
