I guess I killed the thread. Where did everyone go?

Happy Friday the 13th  Woo-ha-ha-ahhhhh.

Girl, it is truly Friday the 13th here. I live in DC and we had two fires in the Metro system that shut down a few stations for a few hours; a downtown power outage that knocked out traffic lights and traffic was a mess; three people were struck by cars because the traffic patterns were all messed up. All of this during morning rush hour. I was so tempted to turn back around and head home to curl up under the covers.

I work downtown and it has been a living nightmare today. All I want to do is go home, lock my door, have a bottle of wine, and not speak, see, or hear from anyone today. Tomorrow might be a better day.

hi ladies,

I just want to say thanks for being so helpful throughout this process. I really appreciate the advice I have received here.

But it seems my journey is ending... I am devastated. I don't know what I am going to do. I was in the hospital last night from bad false contractions.

Thanks again for your help. Good luck to you on the rest of your process.

Michelle

 I just had to laugh at that comment, but he's right. I'll never look at eggs the same again... thanks, Louis!

Have you ever heard of making he cake with diet soda? You take the regular powdered cake mix and mix in one bottle of diet soda of your choice and bake it -- that's it. I tried it after a co-worker told me about it and it was pretty good.

You should get a vegan book. It has lots of animal free ways to substitute in dishes. The eggs thing grosses me out at times too. I remember when i cracked one and found blood in it....NEVER AGAIN!!! Yuk!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers ladies. I am trying to manage for the sake of my baby but this is the most difficult time of my life. I most likely lost the love of my life and it is all my fault. Please continue to keep me in your prayers.

Sus - any news on finding DJ's son?

No, not a word - DJ is outta his mind - his family has been searching high and low, no one is talking about where she is - I am so scared for that sweet little boy that he is in a situation where he is not safe.

Morning everyone.

OMG....I am so sorry to hear this. How long have they been missing?

Sending prayers your way.

is the B2 a work visa ? doesn't he have to commit to the job he has ? would he be available when the interview and medical and such comes around ?

Wah u a do outah u bed so earli (joke mi a mek)...u a'rite...B2 is visitor visa.

QUESTION?

Am I the only ADULT here that still watch cartoons...I mean the old school stuff like:

Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Super Friends, The Flintstones, Captain Caveman, The Smurfs, The Jetsons, Popeye, Casper, Kung Pow Foey, Spider man, Wonder Woman, Mut & Jeff, Rocky & Bullwinkle,

I am a Pinky and the Brain freak!

I hear you on this one. I had surgery a few months ago and had to do some follow ups. They charged me my copay on each one of them. I kept saying "isn't this covered under the surgery charge?" Damn them for sucking every penny they can out of you.
