I think I have seen that on cooking shows. Now I can cook .. but when it comes to baking. I get my mom to do it! :-)

I tried to explain to Louis that eggs we buy in the grocery store are not fertilized...so they will NEVER be a chicken. Whether we eat them or the hen sits on them for a year!! LOL ... He just tells me "Rasta men don't eat eggs!"... Oh well. Maybe he will have low cholesteral!

My employer is always looking for insurance for us. It is a small company and most people are covered by a spouse (except me of course)! When I had Tierra the insurance paid 100%! It was great... now not so much. It stresses me all the time.

We had coverage once... BC pills were not covered but if a man needed Viagra that was covered!! Go Figure!!!

I am excited! And I am supposed to be working but I am doing my roots and cleaning! The perils of wrking from home!

I am going to my mother's tonight - she is helping me make Louis a cake. His birthday was last weekend and he LOVES chocolate (no wonder I love him) but he doesnt eat eggs ("It's a whole chicken!") so we found an eggless/vegetarian recipe. Hope it tastes good!! LOL

Irie --

 I just had to laugh at that comment, but he's right. I'll never look at eggs the same again... thanks, Louis!

Have you ever heard of making he cake with diet soda? You take the regular powdered cake mix and mix in one bottle of diet soda of your choice and bake it -- that's it. I tried it after a co-worker told me about it and it was pretty good.

Enjoy your cake baking Ruly! Please let me know how it turns out!

Bless, Gill

P.S.- I LOVE your avatar!!!!!

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Sus...i cannot imagine..after raising HIS child and to have "some lady" come and swipe him cause he thinks she is ready to be a MOM now...come and not even let him know...it is that serious

What scares me more is the thought of where that poor baby might be - When DJ got him the first time, at about 1 yr old, her life was chaos - stripping, exposing him to all types of stuff and people -

if you want to be in your son's life, then why not do it the right way? SHe came and snatched him outta school without a word to anyone - So who knows where he is, what he is witnessing, and I bet anything he's not going to school. This little boy is so smart - he knows all his multiplication tables at age 5! What frustrates me is that I am sitting here with my hands tied - if they were all in the US, this would be a done deal and he would be back with DJ already -

Employer's today just don't care - I have been fighting with mine for over a month now over my tuition reimbursement - After four years, they suddenly decided that my fees are not reimbursable under the policy, when they always paid them in the past - That is over $500 and they are mandatory fees, not something I have a choice about paying!

The police have already said that they can't do anything - that she is his mother and can take him where she wants - unfortunately, there is no signed custody order or anything. Until DJ figures out where she is living or gets someone to spill the beans, we have no clue - Hopefully he can find someone she knows that is crooked enough to accept a payoff to rat her out.

On a more positive note, I just won a Skyauction for Breezes Bahamas at $57 pp per night AI!

I just hope he is returned safely.

From the description of the mother, she may get tired of playing mother very soon and give the child back....
