Trelawny,

I have been utterly speechless since you posted about your sister and nephew. I have typed...erased...typed and erased. I know that there is nothing I can say to ease the pain...only God can provide that comfort. I am happy to see you still able to laugh in the midst of. My baby sister will be meeting you in Kingston...I am sending a big hug through her okay. You are a true inspiration and shining star. I love your humor...Take care and stay blessed.

Gill,

My sis...my sis...my sis. You look wonderful! Ken was equally handsome. I love those pictures. I miss our gab sessions, but I know that you have to keep the hubby occupied and vice versa. Congratulations again on your nuptials.

HotLegz,

Binky-butt should have been on the potty at night with her little grown behind! I know that is a little bit of relief with a new one on the way...you don't have to increase the diaper budget now.

Everyone please keep me in your prayers. I need some positive vibes and God's blessings right now.

Love,

Jawi876

Thanks Jawi that means a lot. I forgot to tell the ladie here that I printed out all the wonderful things you all said. She's at ease. I went today to pick out an urn (can't spell it). Actually it's a little blue teddy bear box. Not as bad as I thought it would be I was able to handle it. Thanks for my extended support system here.

Girl, I'm so glad you sis interview date is the same as mine. I'm all set. My SO can go by himself if he wants, but I'll be there for support. He has everything organized and in order. His medical was Monday, all went well, except for the PERVERTED nurse who kept starting at him while he was naked (kept telling him to stand up for no reason). I'm still pissed about that. I forgot to tell ya'll, when the doctor came in the room, he asked my SO "why did are you sitting in here naked"...he was like "the nurse told me to take off everything"...they gave him nothing to put on. If I could meet her I would bax her in her face.

I'm going to try and link up with your sis. I'm meeting up with 7 other couples that day. They're interviews go from 9:30am to 1pm. I'm the only one with an afternoon appt., so they're going to wait until I get out. I heard when you have an afternoon appt you're not in there that long. Who knows. I hope that's true.

Hey Tre,

So of those 7 people, are any of them CR1? Just wondering if they do CR1 same day as the others.

:rofl::rofl: "Raggedy eye molester"???? Don't ask. :rofl::rofl:

:blink::rofl:

Yes, 2 of them...both are 2nd interviews (petioner) requested to attend....& 7 couples the other are all K-1...Wakey will make couple 8. Wake and I are the only VJ members. These are people that I know. Marcel actually saw 3 of the men at his medical yesterday (one of them) this is his 2nd K-1...dying to know how that will turn out.

Mi no know. I'm still praying you get a July date (mi ago ask when mi down deh)...I was talking to Marcel last night and the guy that's going for what we thought was his 2nd K-1 is actually his 3rd. I'm wondering how that will play out. Come to find out he use to work at Holiday Inn up until last month. He told Marcel last night he's not worried because his fiancee is a lawyer, I told Marcel to put him on the phone. I had to tell him that don't matter and does his fiancee know that 2 other woman had filed for him in the past. He said no, she doesn't need to know that. I told him, that they're going to ask him about that at the interview...replied ******kiss teet**** sarry fi im baxide.

Wow, I am curious to see how that one turns out - So much for starting the relationship with honesty. DJ and I (if we ever get to the bleepin point of filing, never mind interviewing, lol) will be dealing with that - Because his ex wife is American, and I went through a fiance visa before with my ex from Barbados - Even though they were both valid relationships that ended for various reasons, it still makes me nervous.

Sus;

My sister was in the same situation. When she sent in the K-1 she just explained in a letter why happened to the last relationship and they asked her fiancee (now husband) if he knew and that was it.

Thanks, Lawny - That was what I was planning on doing too - And we both have all the proof that we were the ones who ended the relationship - DJ even has letters that he sent to the Embassy cancelling his interview, because the relationship ended before it was scheduled.

Greetings fellow yardies!

I have 2 quick questions re: police certificates....

1. Under the photo of the person on the sheet it says "signature of the person named". Should this really be signed or do they want it blank?

2. When you are photocopying everything in the packet to send with it should you include a photocopy of the police certs too or is that not necessary?

Thanks for your advice!

The wedding was BEAUTIFUL considering we threw it togher in like TEN days! Ok...the worst part was the DYAM heat...unfortunately..the East Coast was heat with a Bloodcleat HEATWAVE inna early JUNE!!! Just 2 weeks ago it was 40 degrees...whatever.

We didn't let that spoil our day! I was in tears I said recited my vows...because my heart and soul finally felt at ease and knew..."THIS TIME WAS FOREVER!!"

Ken looked so...dyam GOOD!!!! So did our boys!!! Tghe reception was wonderful one of our friends justed opened a new restaurant that hasn't 'officially' been opened as of yet. SO he let us use it! We had a magnificent chef that's Jamaican by birth, but was culinarily trained in France and London! He is part owner, of the Restaurant...the food was OFF THE HOOK!!!!!

It was very small only 35 of our family and friends...we had no DJ, no mic...but it was so geniune! The speeches moved me to tears...everyone saying how happy they were for us and how proud they were of me for taking a chance on love again!

It was great. Ken and I forgot to bring our camera...thank G-d my friend sent some to me this morning... I wanted to at least post one or 2 pictures...b/c I promised!

I mean if I knew he had been denied twice (he was denied right or deported becuz they didn't get married in 90 days??) I would def think 3 times before trying w/ him again.. sorry, this process is too expensive and love just ain't that strong to make me crazy.. Yes you need to sign the certificate...at least thats what I've seen so far. And yes you also need a photocopy of the original along with all other certificates you turn in with DS230.

Neither;

The other women never compeleted the process so he could get an interview. I would have killed him making me spend all this money even though the fees were less expensive then. Girl, I can't wait to see the outcome his interview is the same day as ours and his fiancee is attending. I remember Gill said she saw a couple that was getting interviewed and the fiancee found out someone had filed for her man 2 times before. He says that this woman is the right one. The others were a waste of time. We'll see.

Sounds like he got caught out cheating - That just happened to a friend of mine, although she hadn't filed yet - After two + years of being with the man, she had another woman call her - The other woman was about to or had filed a fiance visa, and found my friend's name in his stuff so she called her to find out the truth.

I can't imagine lying about it if you are truly in love - Everyone has a past, but if you aren't honest about it then something smells fishy!
