I am going extreme bowling tonight, doing some work for my mom in the morning as she is out of town and then going to the casino tomorrow night to celebrate my birthday  I should fit some cleaning in sometime but I don't want to!

birthday luck to you!! Win lots of money!!! Or at least dont loose too much.

Thanks! I am going more for the buffett than the gambling  I have never really gambled so I don't know if I will try or not. I don't want to look stupid ya know?

I am not a big gambler either - but I played slots once and won like $40! I thought it was fun! :-)

Go small and if you only win a few bucks its still cool!!!

I have question...

Louis says he isnt sending ANYONE money so I guess I dont have to worry about that. But I do worry about his mom. She is only 52 and not real healthy. I would love for her to come here eventually when we have a bigger place to live.

How hard is it to get his mother here? Anyone know?

Thanks!

I think I read once he is a permanent resident, not conditional PR, but with the 10 year green card, that he can apply for her himself. Others have done it.

It's pretty much what you are doing....It falls under family based immigration on any site you research.

In the past when I've traveled with friends that were not U.S. citizen we would split up. But when I traveled with my family it didn't matter. They let us all stay together. When u goin again?

It is so addicting.....the lights.....the noises.....the excitement even when you lose. Slots are the best. I do like to play a bit of craps every now and then. The rest of the stuff, I'm not so excited about.

We've gone a few times here and a bunch at Coral Cliffs in Mo Bay. The first time we walked into the one we have here, Andre nearly passed out at how big it was. He kept running around like a crazed man. He disappeared and he didn't find me again till he lost all his money.

We start small too. I take a set amount of what I can spare.....$20, $50, $100....when it's gone, it's gone. Sometimes it sucks and it's gone so quickly...disappointing. If we happen to win, we usually put some aside but play a little more with the bounty we just won.

I have been in the non-citizen line where they have even pulled out everyone in a group travelling together with a national and allowed them to all go in the the nationals line. But, yes, over and over again I've seen the spouse and immediate family allowed to go in the nationals line.

We are seriously making plans for summer 2009. We have about 15 people right now who all are bugging us to do a group thing. Hoping to make it happen by fixing the financials this year and then gathering all the people I care about in the US and Canada and just doing it. Funny, I was just talking with my one friend about this last night.

They do have 2 lines. Last year I went home 6 times and each time I went it was something different at the airport (renovations). I know in September we had a long rass walk to get to customs and it was HOT as hell were we got our luggage. When I went in December I only remember one line and peopole all over the damn place. It was the day after Thanksgiving and it was a MESS!

Sunny,

Ray live a mobay? I was trying to find pictures of my fiance's party at Pier 1, but I don't know where they are. I swear he look like Stroker, but I know it's not him. I just wanted you to see. Oh, he got the name Stoker, well, cause, I'm sure you figured it out. He's cool though.

No, Ray lives in Ochi (Mammee Bay) I hope you find a pic because I wanna see him...

mi can't wait for clarien to come wid the topic and the day soon done...so mi have a ???

This is sort of the flip side of most of us ladies were handling our business before we met our s/o. How do u handle that because we have it together sometimes the men, think it's okay to send down unreasonable sums of money to J.A. when mr jengles first came he threw out a three figure amount that he wanted to send down every WEEK. I had to ask him who he wanted to send that too?? It does kill me a little bit, that some people down there don't work and i'm up here busting my butt every day.

I explained to him how much daycare cost, the fact that they we needed a bigger place to live and most importantly...di fact that he didn't have a job or knew how much money he was going to make.

off to a meeting back in a few

Not here, other than to his daughter..who we send $300 a month. No!! When everyone else come begging he usually say no, unless they make him feel really bad, then he'll send 20 bucks here and there.

Can I be nosy and ask how he sends $20?

I hate to send anything less then $100 cause of the fees associated with Western Union.

You have an easier way?

LMAO  Well, I'm sorry but that's one of the first things I look at when I see men.... Now with the keys thing, you might be on your own. There's no excitement for me in looking for keys. lol
