Well I thought I was gonna have time today to catch up with you guys but nooo. My daughter has pneumonia, poor lil thing is only 5. We spent the last 4 1/2 hours at the Drs. She is tiny, only 36 pounds and they gave her 3 BIG shots. I wanted to cry so bad, hearing her in pain like that breaks my heart into a million little pieces.

i know all to well about pneumonia....the little girl i took care of had the same thing and ended up in the hospital for a couple of days....it sucked to see a little thing like that hooked up to iv's and such....

is she on any kind of nebulizer treatments???? i know putting vics vabor rub on her as well as a humidifier at night worked wonders...also chicken noodles soup is like a miracle food....hope she feels better...

Thanks! He wont make it to Barbados though until the medical and interview. Will stay a few days fpr both. Too much money otherwise to fly back and forth.

I told my 'supportive' family members and my father. Aunts, Uncles...everyone one else jus a guh haffi find thorugh my family's gossip network! They will all talk ish amongst each other...but not to my face! I tried to tell the 'head' of deh gossip tree last night( so she could kick hoff deh new 'NEWS')...but as soon as she hear seh mi a guh Kingston...she start wan bag ah fussin'! Mi neva even git round fi tell har WHY mi a guh Kingston!

It's exhausting...I told 2 more family members this week...both of them immediately said the sane thing..."Yuh sure hit not Green cyard em a look!" On one hand I know I have matured alot ...cause deh old Gill wouldda cuss dem han keep moving. I see it as them looking out for me...which is sweet! But I'm a grown-a$$ ooman...Good or bad is my decision fi mek!

Yup their all coming to the wedding! It'll be VERY INTERESTING!! :lol:

for either reason because they thought your s/o wasn't going to make u happy, he was using you or because you were happy??

I didn't lose any friends but some of my friendships changed. These people supported me while during my long distance relationship with Damien. But when he came the calls stopped or they never ask about him. I think that's strange.

Others didn't expect Damien to do so well or we would last. They never said it but I can tell...

I experienced this and i'm sort of at a loss as to why, and when i go to call, it's oh i was going to call u.

yup same here....my friends were so excited for him to come here...then when he was here....the calls stopped....

Maybe your friends are giving you time to get used to each other or maybe they are giving you space and time to be with your husband. If I am hanging out at my girlfriend's house and her husband comes home from work, i leave because that is their family time and I do not want to interrupt that.

My husband was such a chatter box today, I woke up and there were like 5 missed calls on my cell phone, so me call em and seh I'm up, he seh did want any thing , but he called at least three times after that, to chat bout dis and dat. He comes home for lunch before going back to work, we have an entire conversation ...during rooksing might I add... about our radegity car, about the windows he wants to tent.

Mine was chatty today too. Can't figure out what it was all about.

Nope not in my area...only Comcast or Verizon unless I pay for satelite internet and that is too rich for my blood.

We got Comcast last week...so far, no problems. We got a package cable, phone and internet service for $99. Our cable bill was almost $80 alone.

Same here. all in one. But I didn't sign up cause I wanted to stay with directTV ...now they cut out hypeTV, I want to switch to AT&T all in one, but they made me do a contract when I moved .

How long is your contract with DirectTV? I had them and moved in the middle of a contract. What you do is call and tell them you are moving, living with family for a while, and don't know where you will end up. They will put the contract on hold for up to 9 months. This actually happened to us just as I stated so it was true. DirectTV is the one who told me to do it like this.

If the end of that contract falls during your 9 months, as long as you cancel just as that 9 months expires, you don't pay a thing on the contract. See how it works?....you are still under said contract; but because you had them put it on hold, you don't pay. It is a thing of beauty.

If your contract is longer then that 9 months, it won't work for you.

I have to admit, just by looking at photos even in this thread, I often have a 'notion'.

So far, some have already broken up, there is one I think is DEFINITELY gone as he gets his green card and about 3 other 'hmmms'.....

But the way I look at it, who the hell I am to look at a photo and tell you that he's out for what he can get?

My good good friend constantly cheats on her husband, she loves him but she says she can't help it.

So I just keep out of it, and ask her to keep me out of it.

Lied for her once when she put me on the spot, but NEVER again.....

I love this point they are grown. I agree. My dads friends couldn't believe that he supported me full with me marrying my hubby from JA. He said she is grown and I support her in whatever she does. They just were stun that he and my family would fly down to JA for the wedding. The best part were my parents and brothers support.
