Oooooohhhhh! I want to go to JA!!!! I am missing my honey and I would love to get out of town!

I do hope to get there some time this summer, but as I am sure many of you can sympathize, it is hard to make plans when I don't know when the NOA2 will get done. It would be nice to bring down papers. But it would also be nice to be able to attend the interview at the Embassy. But I doubt I could swing both trips. I LOVE to plan vacations and THIS is frustrating having to wait and see. I am NOT a wait and see gal!

I so hear you...you don't know if you are coming or going! I did the same thing! However, I finally got so fed up I book a trip for January in November only to get my NOA2 2 weeks later ! So then, I had to go back down in March...but it's all good...I will never complain about going tuh Yard!

My sis is diabetic and when we got to Baltimore the TSA person at the x-ray machines wanted to know why she had an entire box of needles in her carry-on. It was just the box. She kept her supplies in the box, the rest of the needles were in her suitcase, but the look on his face was priceless. He didn't even ask her for any info, she just showed him her braclet. Like I have to walk with an EPI-Pen for my son, they always want toknow what it is, so I don't even explain anymore I just hand them the paperwork.

Morning, Lawny! I had that issue travelling with my Dad - he was diabetic towards the end, but got no questions about it - I had percosets on me because I had been in a car accident, and got questioned about why I was taking them! I was ready to flip when she started to give me a hard time about the eye drops, though - I had Lasiks done and need my lubricating drops!

Too funny Sus; I also had laser eye surgery, but I had to do PRK instead of Lasik and the air on the plane DRIES your eyes quickly. I was warned about the little vailes, so I brought the larger bottle, so they could cleary see what was on it. Girl, if's is a class 7 narcotic, they're going to almost and always want question you. They should have nothing to say, as long as you name is on the medicine bottle.

I need some help!

As you all know Andrew was approved on April 15th......However, on April 25, he was involved in a car accident.......At the time of his interview, he was not on any medication.......Since the accident, he has been put on a prescription.......He has a prescription for 2 refills on a 30 day supply......

Should I have him fill those prescriptions before he leaves Jamaica and bring them through customs?

Should I have him just bring the paper prescription and get him a doctors appt here soon?

He needs these meds and I am scared that it will be a mess with customs when he comes through if he brings them?

I agree. You are stressing over nothing. People bring medications through the airport all the time. Not any kind of a thing at all.

And, yes, have him fill them. It may be a while before he has medical insurance in the US and prescriptions may be impossible to get or very expensive until then.

Mawnin Tonya;

He'll be fine. As long as his name is on the bottles or some still give them in the small brown envelopes, they can't do a thing to HIM. If he's worried, have him get a note from the doctor or bring his hospital papers with him. In 2002 I crashed my motorcycle (nearly killed me) and I had 4 bottles of meds with me. They didn't even look at them. I had them in my carry on in clear view. Have him FILL them. He may be in a lot of pain on the flight, like I was. I'm not sure how long his flight is, but I had to sit for 7 hours (flight took 3.5 hours), but Air Jamaica was delayed and I was so glad I had my pain meds. Another thing, you know how much meds cost up here my girl. Unless he's already on your plan, but still, he should not have any problems.

I met his boss last time and he was all in my face wid im TINKIN mout. Keep asking Marcel a wah im do fi get mi and dem way deh! So, since Marcel don't ansah im...he showing Marcel different face. I told him to get some letters of recommendation and then walk. The other co-workers telling the boss that he soon left cause he had to go to Kingston last month. I told him not to tell anyone what he was doing. You know how people can be badmind.

things are slowly going back together....it itches like CRAZY....that really bothers me....oh well...and because all my labor was in my back i have been having muscle spasms in my back and that really stinks cause they come at any time...so slowly but surely it's all coming together...

That you are as active as you are in my mind ... is a blessing!! A C-Section is no JOKE!!! I once read an article that state on average it takes a woman's body a year to completely heal from that procedure. So Chica...please DON'T PUSH IT!!!

Hey Nans -- did you have a C-section? I had back labour for 29 hours. My son was head down, but he nose up instead of nose down. Don't laugh, he'll be 5 in July and my C-Section CUT still itches.
