Hey, Tre......the vets on here did not go through the NVC like is down now. I do remember getting paperwork saying we needed I-864 and I-134. I had prepared both, but they only took the I-134. Also, remember seeing payment details in there; but they were already taken care of by that time. They need to throw some of that old paperwork out.

You need to get Marcel that paperwork, whether you mail it to him or fax it. He may never get it through the JA mail.

I would call that 202# and ask your questions as well.

BTW......I do know Kimani (sp?) I asked Andre and he was like you know that guy, you talked to him all the time. I need to look over the pictures again. I remember the name, just not the face. We don't know Ricky or the other.

I've already sent it DHL (I made one copy). They said he should get it Thursday. But none of the recent interviews went through NVC, right. And I don't want to give them $400 now and then find out it was only $131 I was suppose to pay. HANDS UP IN THE AIR

YES Sunny talk to IslandWoman because I think she have a connection with Ms. CLEO for real. I just called to schedule Marcel medical. The lady was so nice on the phone. She was like June (ANOTHER ONE)...Look like a lot of medicals for June being scheduled at Mobay hope. So, on June 9th they're going to FEEL him up. I wish I could be there. Dang she told me to tell him to bring $14,000/JA $6000 for the medical and $8,000 for any vaccines he may need. But I already had my aunt look at his card and he's good.

Okay! I just called the 202# and was told that I need the I-134. She also SIGHEDDDDD and said, I really wish they would stop giving (immigrant instructions) to non-immigrant filers. I also told them about the address mix up and she signed again. So, I'm good, but I think I'll fill out the I-864 just to be safe (you need 3 years taxes with that form) and you only need (2007) with the I-134.

Whew! I am glad you got that cleared up!

I am so happy that he can feel somewhat independent again...the extra $$ is going to be nice...but Ken is the type of guy that HAS to feel like he is contributing to society. He LOVES work (G-d bless him)!! He can't have not one non-productive day! I know the 'not-working' was starting to get to him. But, what drives me NUTS is that he didn't see how much my life had improved since his arrival. He did the laundry, cooked, took the kids to school, picked them up, coached soccer, spent time with my sons...all of that means SO much to me, not just a paycheck! But whatever!

Next step is the learner's permit, probably in a few week...then driver's license to give him even more independence!

I ran home to pick something up for a meeting later this afternoon. Well, what's in the mailbox - PACKET 4 ... address was wrong, but I guess the mailman figured it out. My fiance still don't have his. On the checklist it says I need to submit an I-864 (remember I was asking about this a few months back) because my girlfriend was told the same thing. What's up with that? Then it says I need to pay $355/US for the I-864 and $45 for the security surcharge...wah di rass. Then it said I can pay it to the NVC if I want to. Did anyone else get anyting like this? Like mi need anymore rass stress pon mi big head.

Oooooohhhhh! I want to go to JA!!!! I am missing my honey and I would love to get out of town!

I do hope to get there some time this summer, but as I am sure many of you can sympathize, it is hard to make plans when I don't know when the NOA2 will get done. It would be nice to bring down papers. But it would also be nice to be able to attend the interview at the Embassy. But I doubt I could swing both trips. I LOVE to plan vacations and THIS is frustrating having to wait and see. I am NOT a wait and see gal!

That is the fee for the immigrant visas (CR1/IR1). They must have something confused. You don't need to fill out an I-864 either if you are K1, it think you need an I-134 or something like that. I'd call them and see whats going on.

Yes my husband was scheduled for his interview on 02-23-08, They told him that he needed a joint sponsership. And to come back on 03/27/08 he did that was told that he was approved. go to airpak and pay you should have you rpacket within 3-4 working days 2 weeks at the latest. We have been waiting since with no response. I have called jamaica and emailed all i get is a automated response saying they cant answer questions and to send a 2nd inquiry email wihch they do not respond to. I also have called the US Embassy in DC they also tell me they dont have any information in the system I would have to contact Jamaica. Has anyone gone through this at all.

Wow, this sounds wierd. I don't know what to say. Maybe you are in AP (administarive processing). But I thought that happended before you pay at airpak, so I don't know. Is there a number at the Embassy that you can call where you speak to someone. Hopefully someone on here can give you some info. Waiting 2 months for you visa is crazy. But knowing JA, it probably just sitting somewhere cause it got mixed up in transit. Isn't there a tracking system on airpak. Did they tell you they sent it already?
