Well, here the airlines go once again... UNbelievable !!!

US Airways raised its fees for ticket changes by $50 (they’re now $150 for domestic fares and $250 for international fares), effective immediately. Elite frequent flyers won’t pay the fee if they’re simply changing dates and times of travel, but the fees will apply if the changes involve different itineraries.

I'm sure that all the airlines will follow suit !!!

WHAT! Thanks for the INFO. I still can't get over paying $25/for the 2nd suitcase. First it was WEIGHT 70lbs to 50lbs....UNBELIEVABLE!

I'm going to buy a DAMN BOAT!

I'm going to buy a DAMN BOAT!

Boat, shoot girl...ya gonna row it? As you know with the price of gasoline!!! SUCKS !! Driving to my sons flippin soccer games this past Sat and Sun almost 2 hours away for each game....I have to fill up the tank almost 3x each week!!

It's only going to get worse. Not all the airlines are following suit with the baggage thing and those that are are waiting till May. The heavier the plane, the more fuel....and that's why they are trying to sticker shock everyone to packing heavier !!!

SOME airlines are now charging if you want your "preferred" seat....like US Airways and only Airtran (not booking with a travel agent) ..you gotta pay $5.00 !!

This industry is worse than our stock market !!

Sus-ie,

Gurl...that is totally JACKED-THE -HELL-UP!!! I think you are taking the right approach and going to what I hope is HER manager! Make sure you express how dedicated you have been to the firm and how uncomfortable it makes you to think that you will always have to be looking over your shoulder! You're good at what you do Sus-ie...I can tell and they don't want to lose you!!

Do you have any proof maybe on your home or personal PC/laptop that you ARE the creator? After the meeting with head dude ...maybe suggest another meeting with Head dude, Grimy Chick and you...so you can hash out this matter once and for all! If she continues with the fraud start asking her why she put certain words and phrases together!

Also, let them know that this here..is your STRAW...AND IT'S BREAKING YOUR BLOODCLAAT BACK! I think it's much eaiser to resolve this from their POV then to go out and hire a new PL!!

Good luck Chica...and MOST importantly...KEEP YOUR COOL!!!

Let us know!

Gill

Gill, unfortunately my manager is not her manager - Her manager is the other attorney - But for some unknown reason, he is completely BLIND to anything she doesn't do - he is very protective of her for some odd reason that no one can figure out. I don't feel comfortable going to him to complain about her when he CLEARLY should see it and ignores it, no matter how much it is pointed out to him (not only by me).

I had a long talk with my manager about it a few months ago, and she said to come to her - so I am!

Oh and another one....only Spirit airlines (that that I know of right now)- ---so anyone traveling with an infant, please make sure you check the travel policies....domestically. Internationally they still have to pay for taxes, don't know if any of them (off hand) are charging on top of the taxes...

SPIRIT airlines ----One child over 7 days and under 24 months of age not occupying a seat, may be carried with a customer for a fee of $25 each way, effective May 1, 2008.

I wonder if they give a discount for paying the fee online like they do for luggage!

I despise Spirit - I had MORE problems with them - Also, heads up with them - they charged me an $85 administrative fee to use a flight credit - and I couldn't use the credit towards the fee.

Morning everyone!

Claire, I love this list! Especially these ones (even thought its like half the list)...

3 You point with your lips.

4.You can't say "three" or "thing" ... you say "tree" and "ting".

5. You say words like Heg (instead of Egg); Hingland (instead of England)

9.You always find yourself standing next to plenty of luggage and boxes at the airport.

10. When you travel home, you bring an extra suitcase going down, it has none of your clothes; returning, it has food.

11. You hate to throw away empty containers as they might come in handy for pepper sauce or "green seasonings".

14.You say "bwoy" at the beginning of a sentence and "man" at the end of it.

15. You always hang something on your rearview mirror.

18. You can't go a week without a rice dish.

21. You save all juices from the cooked meats/chicken to use for flavour for your next dish.

22. You wash and rinse plastic utensils and cups that can be used again.

23. You bring home food from a party (enough for your breakfast the next morning, your lunch and your dinner!)

24. You chew the ice when you finish your drinks.

26. You show disapproval by sucking your teeth.

27. You have a dishwasher in the house and only use it for special occasions.

28. You have a thyme (or mint) bush growing somewhere in your yard.

I love them all. My brother sent it to me and I laughed so much and decided that it is work sharing to give you guys a laugh. Glad you enjoyed it.

Really, that's interesting....they didn't charge me when I had to change one of my clients last month...hmmm? Maybe because they booked through a travel agency ??

What is that saying? You have to pay to take your child if you don't buy their own seat? OMFG.........Unreal!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

I'm wondering why you did not put a pass code lock on all of your work. Therefore no one will be able to edit it only read. This will help solve the problem with editing it. Also, you can embed your initials in your work, but it only shows up when the document is printed, that will be another solution .

Be Bless
