As for the SH...oh yes girl there is such a things 3rd party reports. The reporter took some time to report it her excuse was that she was afraid of retaliation..but yet she knew she was protected by that law...she told her boyfriend..and a friend of her's was there when they found a note the harasser left on her car. It is the 1st offense...him swear blind seh him no know wah she a talk bout and that him try him best fi mek sure him no cross di "line"

If I was on that panel, I would vote to fire him. ZERO Tolerance!

Bwoy, I am SERIOUSLY considering getting a hybrid car the next time round...cause I don't see these prices going down anytime soon. One analyst was saying that the American oil market has been underpriced for DECADES and it is just now catching up!

Which when I think about it is probably true! I remember gas price in England being through the roof back in the 1980's!

I hear you on that! I have a Jeep right now - Which I absolutely LOVE - but when I leased it, I lived around the corner from my job and drove more for fun - Now I drive 25 miles each way to work and gas is KILLING me! I bought the lease out because my buyout was way under the book value - But right now, I am seriously thinking of getting a hybrid - I feel like what I am saving on not having a car payment is going right into my gas tank, lol!

I love my jeep. But, yes I know when it dies, we are going much more fuel efficient.

If u were on a investigation panel..investigation sexual harassment. The alleged harasser deniew the claim and the hrassed says it happened..and has 1 witnes that said she saw advances and such..and a boyfriend she told of the incident..what would u do in this case being on the panel ?

Probably convict.....

I haven't slept a lot lately. We just got the breast pump today. I could only find medela pump hope it works. Dwain is having 8 of his friends over tonight for jerk, fesival, rice and beans, and maybe plantain he is driving around liker crazy and can't find any after 4 grocery stores. He is checking one more hopefully they have some.

JaEnglish do you have to heat the milk on the stove?

i have the medela pump i was going to use....a friend who used it said it was great!! so i am sure it will be good for you!!

if you got the milk storage bags you can heat in hot water....not the microwave....i got a little container that i put hot water in and then sit the bottle in it for 5-10 mins to take the chill off of it....what kind of bottles are you using???

Can I also recommend cabbage leaves in your bra if your breasts get swollen when your milk comes in...really eases the pain!!

the little one is doing well....she is already taking 4 ounces...such a little piggy she sleeps all the time....i'm starting to wonder if something is the matter because she just sleeps and sleeps and sleeps....i go to see the dr on thrursday so i might bring that up to her and see what she says.....

would you ? i guess you could argue both sides...cause u don't need to file a claim based on what happened to u but rather what/how some else felt...hmmm..lawd u mek mi gone back to square blasted one..

The way I see it, the alleged harasser lied if there is an independent witness saying they saw something...The boyfriend;s testimony is not enough on its own because of the fact he's clearly going to be on her side....It all really comes down to the impartiality of the witness.

Now, as you said later on, if there is a note as well, that supports finding him guilty.

As for what to do, you would have to consult the employee handbook and decide whether the harassment warrants firing or a final warning...Whatever you decide, whether the allegation is proven or not, the two must not work together again. If you decide in the alleged harassed's favor and decide not to fire him, HE must be moved away. If you decide that there is no case to answer, they BOTH need to be moved. Leaving one there are moving the other will merely open yourself up to allegations of discrimination.

Yup...I have an ING account...what I like is it takes it out and I don't even think about it! I basically use it for $$ I get from my 2nd job (or at least I was until Missa Young's arrival... ) Plus, I have to do some good budgeting b/c it's not immediately available for withdrawal...if I request money...it typically takes 2 bus days to hit my account! Not to mention the really good interest rate!

I would highly recommend it!

Just need to vent for a second - I have HAD it with my job!!!!! I work with two attorneys out of my group - one of which is supposed to do most of the work, and the other one oversees and handles large litigations. The one that I work with the most does NOTHING - I do everything, and she takes the credit for it! It's to the point that I have to draft the emails she is supposed to send out because she doesn't know anything. As a paralegal, part of my job is to do a lot of the work, and I realize that - However, this attorney is shady and has placed the blame on me for her screw up, which she always somehow finds when I am out of the office - even the week I was out because my Dad passed away! The overseeing attorney protects her and ignores what she doesn't do for some unknown reason.

The clincher on it was yesterday I was searching for a document that I did to reuse as a template, and couldn't find it by searching me as the author - So I did a key word search and found it - With her listed as the author, and me as the typist! So, I searched more stuff, and found that she has changed the index on EVERY document I have written to list herself as the author! I am ready to flip! I have a meeting with my manager at 2 today, so wish me luck, because I am ready to blow!
